Umhhh… Okay first you wait for years and then suddenly there are several available. #doubleredundancy #washingmoreknobs

I got a backup for my favourite old clunky midi controller! They stopped making these about ten years ago and I finally found one sold by some Goodwill at the other side of the world. (knobs are in wash because their plastic gets slimy when aging)

I love that giggly feeling you get after EF when in public or workplace, ”oh if you only knew what I was doing just few days ago!”

I was walking in the "fan section" of a big department store, feeling kinda down and old, seeing it all as a hollow capitalist sham, fan culture as consumerism, monetized nostalgia. But then I saw a G1-style Optimus Prime model kit, and I realized I’m no better… #morethanmeetstheeye #adultmoney

I get some feedback at live VJ gigs but ironically it’s quite invisible job. Views and comments are often low on videos. Do people get what I do? Or is it bad or cryngy? Same old? Or am I obnoxious when I promote? Or do I not promote enough? I do love doing it, but reception is sometimes a mystery.

The video is a silly mess, build from the same materials as the live visuals were. The weird shapes are because material was for 5 led screens at the Arena Stage. (And they were awesome!) The black borders because Youtube would otherwise not show the video properly on lower resolutions.

Vilvi @vilvi.bsky.social · 17/04/2026

All the included songs were played by the DJs at some point during the EF dances. And an extra shoutout to DJ @kertinox.bsky.social, his beautiful song "Letting Go" is included in the video.

Huge thanks to everyone involved, all the artists, DJs and hardworking EF staff! 💜 Thanks to @wolvinny.bsky.social for fun fursuit clips and sweet @nautilusta.bsky.social for Second Life characters (you can blame her for the amount of ass included!)

That part of the project when you feel that everything you have done is just a baaaaaaad, cringy and a complete mess and no one will like it or you and you should just move to a forest and never see anyone again.

Vilvi @vilvi.bsky.social · 03/04/2026

Seeing how others live VJ inside/outside the fandom, I get my approach may be unconventional. For some, it’s just a tech job to support the DJ (and that it also is!), but I love when it’s a video performance that makes people stop and stare. ✨ (Yes, EF29 video is still coming, hopefully next week!)
