y’know I kinda enjoyed the whole pain of making a USB booter for that ancient Mac Pro. Not the trip to Currys for a USB 2.0 memory stick so much, but it has reminded me to keep on top of that stuff a bit more. Yes.

whoa! That’s made my day : ) I think glass, metals, textiles &c were the school’s strengths back in th‘eighties (actually, film/animation was pretty good?). Painting was a backwater (we got lucky with Stephen Farthing as HoP while I was there).

I never had any interest in computers until I barged some time in the computer room at St Martins SoA on Long Acre. They had Macs and a PostScript laser printer and suddenly text + image were a thing *I* could generate. I went back to my painting cubicle at WSCAD and pondered this, long.
