Okay To Not Be Okay (Part 3 of ?) #bloodymary (emetophobia cw: offscreen but obvious) (Also note: that plant is Simon's, but Grace handmade the pot it lives in. This changes nothing about the comic. It's just important to me that you know that.)

Grace's hands tying Simon's hair back. Simon, who is still wrapped in the quilt, is hunched over and vomiting offscreen.
"I-I'm...I'm sorry," he apologizes as he retches, and Grace gently reassures him, "It's okay, sweetheart. You're okay. Just get it out."

Grace kneeling beside Simon on the bathroom floor by the toilet. He's rubbing Simon's back. Simon leans heavily on the rim, retching a few more times as the vomiting subsides and he fights to catch his breath.
"Easy, baby...easy...breathe..." Grace soothes gently.
"Sorry..." Simon weakly apologizes again.

Simon sits back a bit and examines the edge of the quilt by his hand. It's a little stained.
"Oh...I've ruined your quilt..." he murmurs shakily and a little sadly.
Grace offers a gentle smile and replies, "No, you haven't, Si. It'll wash out, it's okay."
Grace gently tugs at the quilt and continues, "Take it off for me? I'll bring you a new one."

Simon takes the quilt off and allows Grace to take it from him. He sits back with his eyes closed, sick and exhausted.
Grace leans in to kiss Simon on the cheek as he stands with the quilt.
"I'll be right back. I promise," he says softly, and Simon hums in response.

Grace pulls Simon into a warm, tight hug, and Simon buries his face in Grace's shoulder.
"You're shivering," Grace says, and Simon groans in response.
"Tell me what hurts?" Grace requests gently, "I'll help you."

Still wrapped in the hug, Simon begins to respond unsteadily, "I...I don't know...i-it's kind of...all over...m-maybe it's-"
His sentence cuts off as he lurches a little and grips Grace's shoulder harder.
"Oh god-" he groans shakily, "Ryland-"
"Hm?" Grace hums in response.

"I'm gonna throw up," Simon warns, and Grace's eyes fly open, mildly panicked.

Grace pulls out of the hug and hurriedly puts a hand on Simon's back to guide him.
"O-okay! It's okay! Oh geez - Let's go this way, yeah? And quickly," Grace reassures Simon while quickly ushering him back towards their bathroom.
Simon follows along, hunched over with a hand clamped over his mouth and tears forming in his eyes, and simply hums a quick "mmhm" while fighting a gag.
