Oh, absolutely. Sometimes it's right there in your face, a d those are easy enough to point to and say, "This is racist". But the microaggressions and other less obvious trends and what-not are just as important to point out! And as you said, listening is KEY, because yeah, non POC are gonna have a harder time recognizing that shit without understanding why/how something could be racist/offensive. But that doesn't mean it isn't racist, it's just not as clear to non POC.
They really need to teach this shit... seriously. Recognizing harmful stuff is a skill you can learn and improve. But it has to start somehow and it'd be ideal if that start wasn't... well, ya'know.
