Based on this, a diode (that’s there to presumably protect the rest of the circuit) short circuited. I did what others did, took a soldering iron to the board, and removed the faulty diode (pics with and without diode D4)

This app was a lot more simple for Claude Code to write up. I asked it to plot the number of listens among top k artists given my last.fm listening history. also something I've wanted to do. not fleshed out, I want a better visualization, but it is impressive that I can build this with one prompt.

I was looking at the math books on my bookshelf and I totally forgot I still have this one on my possession. This book is probably the most monstrously difficult one I’ve studied from. Iirc we got through only 60 pages of it in the grad course I took as an undergrad at Notre Dame.

This took more effort but it was still all prompting with ChatGPT 5.2. Completely vibe coded, though I did have to point it to the relevant papers for it to understand what to do. I couldn't have imagined doing this before. Makes me want to try out Claude Code.
