I recently lost my job because my boss is a creep. He was flirting with a younger client and was making inappropriate jokes. And for that, I had to leave. It's been difficult for me to find a job since.

On top of that, on July 18, I got SA'd.
I was able to get treatment, but I still need to get tested for other things.

Today, I got my x-ray results and I have been diagnosed with diastasis on my ankle. I've had this for 47 days now and basically two of my bones connected by a ligament had separated, leaving a gap. My ligament's either partially or fully torn.

I'm gonna have to start physical therapy 3 times a week for 3+ weeks (128 USD/178 CAD a week).
(this is depending on my healing progress and may extend)

If it doesn't get any better, I was told I will have to get surgery.

It is okay to DNF a book, but why on god's green Earth are we using ChatGPT to summarize it because of fomo? You couldn't have looked it up on Google? Read reviews? Read blogs? People write summaries & analyses of the books they have read. OMG so unnecessary. 😵‍💫

A guy named Jamie posted their review on 'Martyr!' by Kaveh Akbar:

"I tried really hard to stick with it. I made it 43% before skipping an entire chapter and then skimming the next one before realizing just couldn't do it anymore. ChatGPT summarized it for me and cool endina, I iust couldn't make it there on my own.
It reminded me of The Catcher in the Rve in a lot of ways, and thats another book I always felt was overhyped.

Liz is still waiting to hear back from all the emergency housing programs she applied for but is out of funds for the hotel she is staying at ($70/nt). Her interview went well snd she has a few more coming up but she staying indoors is costly. She needs help staying sheltered for the time being. 🙏🏽

Which is the point and core of this discussion to begin with anyway. To unpack the underlying reason behind such preferences or why one identifies with a label they choose.

PS: This is not an attempt to distance ourselves from the bi label nor to contribute to bi-erasure. The impact of the sub-labels would still depend entirely on the intent of the person who identify as such.

Calling out bias and problematic rethoric within bisexual spaces is valid, but using it as an excuse to unleash and justify your biphobia ain't it.

However, I see why people can be more wary of bisexuals that are 'heteroromantic' because this seems to convey the inability of some to decenter men and this can sometimes be due to deeply ingrained biases. BUT IT IS NOT OKAY FOR YOU TO COME AND BE LIKE "SEE THIS WHY WE NEVER TRUST & DATE Y'ALL" 🫩

Personally, I am most probably a bisexual homoromantic. I know for a fact that definitely has to do with how men stand in this society and I cannot see myself pursuing or being romantically attracted to them it seems. But see, that plays a role because romantic attraction is not all 'sparks'.

For example, we have to ask if such preferences are rooted in misogyny, internalized homophobia, compulsory heteronormativity or heterosexuality, or the ease and 'benefits' of dating based on how society has set up gender roles and expectations, and cultural upbringing.
