“I’ll catch ya later, Hauyne. Be sure to enjoy more of Lumiose! And keep rising the ranks of the Royale! Maybe you’ll face off against me!” Vigil bursts off, skating at the speed of swiftness.

“Probably a good idea. Maybe I’m just used to kids having great power…” The fact is that in her world, most kids get their Quirk at the age of 4. Very concerning, but it is the norm. “I say we did a great job today, Hauyne. With you, the Vantas, Team MZ, and Korrina, we’ll save this city!”

They make their way back to Lumiose, and Vigil let’s out a big stretch. “Feels good to get back in battle again. Good to know I’m not a single bit rusty! Dunno what I’m going to do with the Cincinno though. Maybe I’ll give it to Chloe or Vola.” Should children really have that power…?”

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

“It would seem so. Maybe Vanta got her exploration skills from Vola. The kid’s got a knack for finding secrets as well. I guess the Aryith Region from Vanta’s memories are flooding into Hyperspace, causing their Megas to appear…” Vigil stashes the bow, “Let’s get back to the city.”

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

“According to Vanta, she talked down Scarlett from sacrificing herself for Crescent’s cause… Team Crescent, I mean! This bow helped, definitely.”

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

‘God damn it I forgot… she can’t see.’ Vigil mentally facepalms. “Sorry Hauyne, I keep forgetting… Please forgive me…” She puts her hands together in a standing, pleading pose. Then, after a bit, she returns to normal. “Scarlett. Vanta talks about her, and I think she does have a Cinccino.”

100 1

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

“Yep! Should be!” Just as she turns around to exit, a piece of cloth flutters into her face, “Ack— What the…” Looking at it closely, it’s a small, red bow. “Huh… Looks kinda familiar. What about you, Hauyne?”

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

“And that’s that!” Vigil wipes sweat off her brow as she takes out a Dream Ball, catching the defeated Cinccino and snatching the newly formed Mega Stone. “Nice work, Hauyne!” She runs up to give her a hi-five, with a smile.

Finally, after charging, both Zenith and Vigil aim and… “Nihil Light!” A spectacular, gigantic beam of purple explodes out of Zenith’s cannon, as so does Vigil’s weapon. The attack crashes into the weakened Cinccino, bypassing its Fairy Typing and leaving it defeated.

Cinccino staggers at the Thousand arrows, but still stands, attempting to move out of Balmung’s scarlet gaze. However, out of the air, large amounts of tape strap down the Rogue, courtesy of a few Resonated Tape bullets from Vigil. “Now’s your chance, I’m almost done!”

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

But this is what it wants, as it quickly transforms to its Complete Form, and just as quickly, Mega Evolves. “Hauyne, keep it busy! And make sure it stays in place!” Cincinno starts quickly moving around with amazing speed, more projectiles ejected in wave after wave and Tail Slaps galore.

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Mega Energy flies out of Cinccino, allowing the Trainers to pick it up. Vigil, having picked up enough, swaps over to her 50% Zygarde, red cells glowing bright, “Zenith! You know what to do!” Zenith charges at Cinncino, only to receive a damaging Play Rough.

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Bullet Seeds, Rock Blasts, and Tail Slaps bombard the arena. Careful movement is required to not get hit. “Putting that Skill Link to good use, huh? Keep your focus, Hauyne!” Vigil states as she swerves through the waves of projectiles with ease, keeping up her suppressive fire.

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

“Heh! Works like a charm, let’s keep it up, Denari!” Vigil continues to shoot from a distance. Meanwhile, Cinccino uses its enlarged tails to repeatedly strike at Hauyne, knocking the Interceptor back a far distance. Then, numerous projectiles come flying out around it.

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Cincinno receives both Steel-Type attacks, taking super-effective damage. Though, Vigil’s attack isn’t done yet, as she fires a charged shot from her pistol that bounces and splits across the numerous coins in the air, striking the chinchilla many times.

Cinnccino let’s out a cry, as the effects of Mega Evolution take over, transforming into Mega Cinnccino. “Alright, Nasty Plot into Make It Rain!” Vigil orders Denari, as numerous coins fly into the air.

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

“Great! Let’s head on over! Should be right this way!” Vigil leads Hauyne and Balmung to the distortion and using Hoopa’s help, enters the Arena. A lone Cinnccino stands in the center. “Huh… A Cinnccino Mega? Sounds interesting.” Vigil notes, sending out a Gholdengo, “Denari, you’re up!”

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

“Huh…” A pause. “Anyways, I was hoping to test out a new trick on a Rogue Mega. Wanna come with?”

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

“…I’m sorry, what.” She deadpans, taking a swig from her own personal water battle. “And you lived???”

“Even stranger is when you get sent from taking down a titan in the middle of Japan to finding yourself thrown in a dumpster in the US.” The hero realizes her error, “Right, it’s not Japan or the US here, it’s like bouncing from Kanto to Unova after fighting Giratina.”

100 1

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

“I get that. Sometimes it gets to a point. I don’t think you want to imagine the amount of times I’ve felt that way during my first year at UA High. A lot happened during that year, and shortly after.”

100 1

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Vigil frowns, “Hey, don’t wear yourself out! At least take a break! Take it easy!” She pulls out a water bottle and towel from nowhere, handing it over to either Balmung or Hauyne when they can grab them.

Kai’s been absentmindedly staring at nothing for the past while, as if haunted by something.

“That’s what Corbeau’s calling it for now. And by using Ansha’s Hoopa, we should be able to access it from different places.” Taunie explains. “Yep!” Ansha affirms, “I’ll be ready to whip up any donuts for the Team whenever. Just let me know, okay? And with that, Team MZ makes their exit.

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

The two wave and head to the elevator, but not before Vanta states, “Let’s reconvene properly in the morning, Taunie. We can take over for Vigil. Let’s get to the bottom of this Hyperspace nonsense.” “You got it!” Taunie gives a thumbs up as the elevator rises, leaving Kai as the sole newcomer.

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

“It’s probably what Vigil would’ve wanted. Maybe she’ll wake up when we wake up!” Vola hopes, “Vanta! We should stay in her room for now! Our meshed-up thoughts might help!” The Interceptor pats Vola on the head, “We should definitely try that. Welp, we’ll be heading up, goodnight everyone.”

100 1

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Vanta smiles too, “Glad to be a warm welcome… as warm as it can get considering, well, everything that happened today.” She looks outside, noting the “It’s getting late… I’m sure there are rooms here at the hotel you two can stay at.”

"I'm pretty sure my younger sister showed me of a few gijinkas of her own before... though I was too invested in my sewing to realize it." Naveen states, "Seeing it in person, it fuels me with inspiration. Like watching Canari streams." "You're bringing up Canari now?" Vanta deadpans.

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

"A friend of Vigil's a friend of ours!" Taunie cheers, " You don't have anything to worry about." Lida adds, crossing her arms in thought "Not to mention the way Vigil handles things, using her weaponry in Rogue Mega fights in the past."

100 1

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

"Vigil probably told you this before, but its nothing to be ashamed of." Vanta speaks up, "Even though the general public might be too hasty and/or too stupid to judge at first glance, we know better, right everyone?" And indeed, everyone agrees in their own way.

100 1

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

"Hm... I thought those were just part of a very realistic Sylveon cosplay." Naveen states. "Wait, you had those the whole time!?" Lida exclaims, genuinely surprised. "You know, I was wondering about that..." Taunie ponders. Kai speaks up, "You don't have to explain if you don't want to, Stylia."

100 1

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

"PRETTY EARS!!!" Vola points out immediately. Thanks Vola, now everyone is paying attention! Team MZ just look in shock, while Vanta and Kai just sigh. The former lightly flicks her traveler self in the forehead. "Dummy. Learn to think before you act." "Owie..." "I didn't even use much force."

100 1

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

They talk about Corbeau's request to get to the bottom of Hyperspace, utilizing Ansha's Hoopa and donuts. "...If Vigil is out out of commission, I think it would be fair if Vola and I take over for her." Vanta suggests, "We more or less are the same person, after all."

100 1

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

"I want the parm." Kai bluntly states, "But I'm sure there's enough for everyone. Let's get started." The gang starts digging in, enjoying the comfort of the food as evening slowly turns to night. Team MZ comes back, and joins the dinner.

110 1

Vigil: Wielding Hero @vigilimpera.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Vanta brags, "Heh, living all alone in the wild sure does help a ton!" "FOOD! NOW!" Vola is practically beaming at the set table. This startles Kai awake. "I call the donuts!" Vanta and Vola exclaim together, and then they start arguing over who has dibs. Kai, in her drowsiness, gets between them.
