For some classic views Crow Park (Keswick), Latrigg (from underskiddaw car park), Tarn Hows, Buttermere, Ashness Jetty parking in the little car park just after the cattle grid after you go up the hill. Go up the hill to Ashness bridge and surprise view further on, wastwater. Coast - Silloth/Allonby

Not too bad. Plantar has been plaguing me all summer which has reduced the distances a bit, but hopefully it is getting slowly better. Purchased a new camera body with a macro lens as weop so at least that has kept me occupied in the garden when not doing the day job!

As Haweswater drops the remains of the walls of the streets of Mardale Green become visible. Destroyed in the late 1930s for ordnance testing ahead of the valley being dammed. It's amazing to see that the walls remain. #lakedistrict #photography #mobilephotography #history
