His recut of ROCKY 4 took the charm out of that movie by removing all the cheese like Paulie's robot wife, and made it into a dull slog. A recut of ROCKY 5 is even more unnecessary because a better version already exists, ROCKY BALBOA was basically him taking a mulligan and remaking ROCKY 5.

This scene is always referenced as an example of bad CGI, but it never bothered me because the Matrix is supposed to be a simulation. Like, what if loading all those Smiths was causing lag and it had to lower the pixel resolution just to compensate so that the program(s) could run at full speed?

There's a better movie in here wanting to get out, but I don't think that version stars Will Smith. He's too affable to pull off the Eddie Valiant role of a hardboiled detective with a personal grudge against an underclass, that has to solve a murder that one of them is accused of commiting.
