Videopolis @videopolis.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Games Complete 2026 #26 Silent Hill IMO, the most ambitious and technically challenging of all PSX games. Terrifying, but with such graphical economy. In essence, it’s the ingenious audio design doing the heavy lifting, but the rudimentary bones of SH2’s iconic looks and enemies are here too. 241

You could always roll the dice on a historic machine though… 120

Obviously I need to overhaul the code and the UI to reflect the tellies and rooms we now have, but that shouldn’t be too much of a chore and will make a page to supplement the IR remote. 120
Videopolis @videopolis.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Watched Bob’s @retrorgb.com 6x CE vid and ditched the raw 1440p look for 4K half height with the Trinitron mask, HDR enabled and it looks as good as I remember. The Tink is connected direct rather than through the AV amp, but I can’t give this up, especially when compared with 1080p plus masks. 040
