You know what I miss? Game nights. With friends. With pizza. With Mountain Dew. Can we go back to that life?

I’m kind of in awe of this map in Xenoblade Chronicles. And remember this was originally a Wii game.

Ninja Theory closing hurts as someone who loved the first Hellblade and related to it well given what my dad went through with dementia. I'll hold that game to heart and wish the affected employees the best as they look for new work. Thanks for the memories @ninjatheory.com

I haven't put out a game, but I studied it in the late 2010s taking Unity courses and participating in game jams. I know indie devs from those courses pushing hard in their craft for peanuts in return. Believe me when I say this video speaks true to the harsh realities of game dev life.

Finished season 2 of X-Men ‘97. There were many good high notes, especially on the first half, but man…..I really question where they took it towards the end. Don’t know if any of you all have the same feeling. 🤔

Hanging out at a dealership while your car is getting maintenance has its perks. I just finished this graphic novel within an hour. I’m floored at how great this Absolute Batman series is….and how wild some of the directions they’re going with. I’m already preordering the next one, damn it 😂

I sometimes think of a world today where we didn't have streaming and had nothing but Blockbuster stores to get our entertainment. Can we make that happen again?

I’m 2 hours into the first Xenoblade Chronicles. I’m very intrigued by the premise of this world I’m living on and the secret of this sword. I just need to get used to this MMO-style auto attacks. Also, Shulk loves sandwiches.

Mina the Hollower is DONE! I know people were hoping for more Shovel Knight, but I’m glad @yachtclubgames.bsky.social made this. A nice throwback to Zelda GBC aesthetics with Souls-like elements to make you want to throw your controller but keep pushing through. High recommend!

I'm seeing the catfish drama this morning of somebody favored well in this community. I really, really am trying to understand the motivations of people who do this. Why would you not want real, organic relationships with people?

Ok, this was absolutely fantastic. I get why the Absolute line has reinvigorated DC Comics. Just when you think they’ve run out of new takes on Batman, this comes along. Just so floored. Onto volume 2!

There obviously is nothing great about this, but at least we are seeing way more transparency about why this is happening under Asha compared to Phil. Whether this "reset' does the work it needs to do remains to be seen.

The physical game matter is a mess and even as one who’s leaned more digital, I’m not happy about it being taken away as choice is also being taken away. If you can afford it, I’d recommend move to PC and support @gog.com for its stance on DRM and game preservation.

Finished Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow. This gave me Thor vibes with a fantastical ride through different worlds and wonders. Something I’ve never expected reading a Supegirl book and was welcome. The art was incredible too to match up with that vibe. So many pages I want posters for on my wall.

Man, Persona 5 Royal was a journey. 150 hours later, I finally beat the Royal content and wrapped it all up. So much to say that I can’t fit here. Getting to know these characters so intimately, the story unraveling with many twists. I was in awe. I may have to make a video.
