saw THE ODYSSEY. some great spectacle, but Nolan’s overly technical style has finally worn my patience thin. A very human story is turned into a list of events robotically ticked off. Page, Pattinson & Hathaway shine amidst a sea of muted performances - the worst sadly being Damon’s Odysseus. 6/10.

Saw Disclosure Day. A carousel of cool ideas that unfortunately end up having to fight for space. Pair this with an overwrought, repetitive story and a laughable ending, and you get an experience that wasn't really for me. Emily Blunt and Colin Firth are bright spots in here though. 5/10.

Saw TADC: The Last Act. Made me cry quite a bit!!! A very poignant, affecting and satisfying end to the story. It leaves a lot of the wider lore questions unanswered by the end, but that's the point- what really matters is the here and now. 8/10 #tadc #review #movie #film

Saw Backrooms. Kane Parsons can just pump out unsettling looking spaces like it's nothing. Great atmosphere and visuals with music to match. Good thematic core centering around the degradation of memory. If this is what he can do at 20 then I can't wait for his next projects! 7/10
