Vidan ( left ) is his father's, Vidve ( right ) eldest son. They have a deep, abiding respect for each other although Vidve was at times a harsh teacher. Their relationship was generally good, and as close a father/son bond as Rava can have. It wasn't perfect, but they were family.

Vidan's smiles are rare things, subtle and understated. A lifetime of wearing masks and relying on physical signing via his hands and ears means he has never really needed to be more facially expressive. So when they happen, they're all the more precious.
