Another simple thing I’d not thought of- Friend was doing a “2024 miles in 2024” challenge. Told her I simply don’t have time most days to run 6 miles at a time. She said “that’s why I break it up into 2 to 3 shorter runs”.

Watched a video where this guy (Mario Tomic) talked about a "strategic calorie buffer". He eats a smaller breakfast + lunch, and saves up 50% of the calorie budget for dinner because it's easier to make up a deficit than going "oh crap I have 150 cals left". I like it.

People really don’t want to hear this and want to pretend like LLMs are a temporary fad or something. Even with identical education, someone using AI will outcompete someone not. I use them all the time to navigate bureaucracy, write code, and at this moment am planning a vacation with Claude.
