them <3

screencap of ronan raftery as lieutenant john irving in amc’s the terror. he is a white man with brown hair and a beard, wearing a dark blue coat with gold buttons. he is sipping from a teacup daintily.

screencap of paul ready as harry goodsir in amc’s the terror. he is a white man with curly dark hair and large mutton chops. he wears a dark coat with metallic buttons and is also sipping daintily from a teacup.

same picture

a silly looking seal stands on its fins in shallow water, giving it the appearance of wearing very high waisted pants. it has large shiny dark eyes and gray skin with spots.

a close up picture of tobias menzies as james fitzjames in amc’s the terror. he is a white man with chin length brown hair, mostly hidden under his military hat. he has a strong jaw, distinct wrinkles, and - most like the preceding seal picture - large, dark eyes.

crozier and his lieutenants

four brown seals on a bed of greenery. one large one sits alone off to the left and looks vaguely grumpy. the other three are smaller and piled on top of each other in a little pyramid. the bottom right pyramid seal has his mouth open.

you have no idea how much this image lives in my head, specifically fitzjames looking just a little bit haunted . when i talk about my brain worms this is what they look like

an image of jared harris as francis crozier (left) and tobias menzies as james fitzjames (right) in amc’s the terror. crozier is slightly shorter and making a puzzled expression, using his eyebrows well, while fitzjames is a bit taller and has an air of slightly haunted golden retriever about him. they are both wearing hats but fitzjames’ looks strangely tall. they are also both in their slops, crozier in a standard tan with a gray collar and fitzjames in a lighter beige trimmed with fur.
