The Drama is on and they are with a photographer going through the 'shot list' and if you don't understand why a lot of photographers don't use the word 'shoot' anymore then this is a good things to watch to understand. Once in a while I do slip and use it but I tend not to use that word anymore.

Looking back at the Clashfinder I am kicking myself at a few who I did miss. GUTTED MAN! Even if I finally got used to using Heelies I don't think I would have made most of the other 10

Be Passionate. Be Waired.

Met someone yesterday too and they said they actually read my insta reviews so maybe I should just do a quick round up and then get them on the website. 1 year and 1 month of wairedfor.co.uk not really doing much🫣

Anyways, I went to Twisterella festival again yesterday and I am getting so much better catching the first act now that I managed to photograph 26 artists of a 36 bill with a few full sets too. But yeah my back is suffering now.

Watching a replay of final points of the Zverev v Djokovic China Open match and can't decide who I dislike more. Only stuck with it as was about to end and hope some other good matches highlights are following soon

Really thought I had a 24hr bug as took on a last minute job today but I now find myself back in bed after editing 10 photos! In a few weeks many have said they're feeling crappy. Some say Covid but at this time of year is it freshers flu. One of my sis works in a student heavy place!

This is getting serious guys. I've opened up a jar of Polish honey and have put a huge soup spoon into some hot water. I refuse to be more ill than I already am. When I was younger I would just wait it out but now I am adulting and cannot afford to be ill.

110

Yeah I'm not well. After catching up with some personal stuff I opened up an important email and messed up. Nothing major but still. High-importance stuff is going to wait until tomorrow. If you want to general chit-chat though and understand my mind then I am here for that!

Loads of jobs coming up on my feed..... Based in New Zealand. I have not been job searching in New Zealand. I'm not sure how I can legally work there but it's tempting so someone tell me how do I go about moving and working in New Zealand when not of working visa age 🤔

Newcastle Airport is a joke. Couldnt park cos ppl just cant seem to park in bays then ppl walking right in front of cars as they're trying to leave. Also had to walk around to other escalators as closest ones were working but had No Entry barrier. Also prices changed AGAIN! Shorter time & more £

Someone who has a Canon A1 tell me why you love it so much as batteries seem to drain very quickly. I've looked it up & they should last min a year. I've been through three batteries in about 6-8weeks. Two were alkaline and the third slightly better was silver oxide. Connections look good too.

So KLM site crashes then prices increase about three times so went onto Air France - partner company - and after a few declines it was successful and back to lower price. Head battered but great deal and not even for me. I need a thousand pints, please

Also gutted not to be photographing @bobpetesarah.bsky.social last hurrah at Glasshouse tonight. Since becoming active on the music photography scene I've photographed all their North East shows but not tonight 🫤 Unless @rockingbob.bsky.social sees this 😏

Funny seeing one of the sponsors for the Independent Music Awards was Spotify with Spotify "does not pay royalties for any individual track that garners fewer than 1,000 streams"

Both @nationalexpress.bsky.social & FlixBus growing divide between Newcastle and London by both having last coach of day at 10pm and first at 7/7:30am. Miss the days of 23:30 & 23:59hr departure - tho 1am would do too! Bring these times back. And why no Megabus from Newcastle now?

Updated laptop and can't find my way around the damn thing anymore!

Monday was meant to be admin day but got caught lifing then it was meant to be Tuesday then Friday but Saturday at 6pm I finally did some admin. I was kinda made to feel guilty sending 'non office hours' emails but I see others working unsociable hours signing off stating obvious & well too right!

Any publications need a photographer for @deathcabforcutie.bsky.social when they play Gateshead in a weeks time? The publication I do things for time to time has gone with another photographer 😐 This is why I should have had my website set up by now🫣

Jessica Pegula’s reaction after reaching her 3rd straight US Open SF At age 32, she’s a late bloomer who worked tirelessly to get to this level Hard work & dedication got her to the top, & she somehow improves every year That’s a story in itself 🇺🇸🥹

This sure felt as long a day as when I went to Wimbledon for Ladies finals in 2024. All three matches went into a decider. Dread to think how I'd have been if it was four matches. It is a vibe when you're 'in it' but damn so tiring when it stops.

000

I quickly looked up the drama as missed this but damn how I wish I had Ostapenko with me during my Covid walks as I know that is a friend I so needed at times not the 'friends' who said I was brave during that time. That's a side step as this sure is a Taiwanese drama but I know what I know mean!

000

Aye this is crazy as. I was p*ssed when Pegula v Navaro was delayed an hour or so. It was 3am UK time when it wrapped. I didn't have the energy for Shelton v Alcaraz but when to sleep with the radio on and woke as it was rounding up. Wish I had the energy to go and turn TV on but I got more sleep.

000

I don't know when these moments happen👇 so catching action like this is harder than anticipating jumps in music photography IMO. Also if you miss jumps there's always other energy to catch. In theatre the fleeting moments seem much more fleeting to me. Don't come at me for this, it's just my feel!
