On November 20th, 1947, then 21-year-old Princess Elizabeth married her "strength and stay," Prince Philip at Westminster Abbey. The first British monarch to mark a Diamond Wedding Anniversary, the late Queen was fortunate to celebrate her Platinum Wedding Anniversary in 2017.

Deepest sympathies to Queen Camilla who’s mourning the loss of her much loved pup, Beth. Rehomed from Battersea Dogs and Cats home in 2011, Beth and the Queen’s other dog, Bluebell, were the first rescues to call Buckingham Palace home.
