Look at what they have to do to mimic 1/10th of our power. Buddy, that's called coding.
Screenshot from X post by user Sukh Sroay @sukh_saroy. It reads: "Prompt engineering is dead. Nobody is writing english to chatbots anymore. The best outputs are coming from people who write prompts like code. It's called json prompting. and it once you see it, you can't got back:"

Wow
An illustration from "THE NEW YORKER" shows two distinct groups of hands on a split background. On the left, there are two neat columns of uniform red hands, all pointing to the right. On the right, an assortment of blue hands is depicted in various gestures, including pointing up, down, and sideways, as well as making fists, thumbs down, and open palms, all scattered without a uniform direction. The text "THE NEW YORKER" and a small book icon are at the top.

The systems that best exemplify direct manipulation all give the qualitative feeling that one is directly engaged with control of the objects — not with the programs, not with the computer, but with the semantic objects of our goals and intentions.

John. I completely disagree. The difference is that the Engineer knows and understands what the hell they're doing, doesn't need to be told how to fix things, has the agency to ask questions, reach out to other people, can be trusted, and more importantly can be held accountable for their actions.

This is just sickening... www.kenklippenstein.com/p/trumps-nsp...
The Trump administration isn’t only targeting organizations or groups but even individuals and “entities” whom NSPM-7 says can be identified by any of the following “indicia” (indicators) of violence:

anti-Americanism,

anti-capitalism,

anti-Christianity,

support for the overthrow of the United States Government,

extremism on migration,

extremism on race,

extremism on gender

hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family,

hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on religion, and

hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on morality.

He even canceled his entire US tour for this reason: “fucking ice could be outside my concert. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”

Historical Examples of Fascist Regimes Cutting Education & Scientific Research
Nazi Germany (1933-1945)
Purged universities of Jewish academics and those with "undesirable" political views, firing approximately 1,200 university professors (15-20% of all academics) between 1933-1934
Established the Reich Ministry of Science, Education and Culture to control curricula and research priorities
Rejected "Jewish physics" (relativity and quantum mechanics) in favor of "Deutsche Physik" (German Physics)
Book burnings of "un-German" literature and scientific works
Slashed funding for theoretical physics while increasing support for applied research with military applications
Fascist Italy under Mussolini (1922-1943)
Implemented the "Gentile Reform" in 1923, restructuring education to emphasize loyalty to the fascist state
Required all professors to swear an oath of loyalty to the fascist regime in 1931
Reduced funding for basic scientific research while increasing support for applied sciences with propaganda value
Forced approximately 300 Jewish academics out of their positions following the 1938 racial laws
Franco's Spain (1939-1975)
Purged an estimated 33% of university faculty following the Spanish Civil War
Cut funding to the progressive Institución Libre de Enseñanza, which had promoted scientific education
Redirected research funding from evolutionary biology and genetics toward research aligned with Catholic doctrine
Heavily censored textbooks, removing material deemed contradictory to nationalist and Catholic values
Soviet Union under Stalin (1924-1953)
Though communist rather than fascist, Stalin's regime displayed similar patterns regarding science and education
Lysenko affair: Rejected Mendelian genetics and evolutionary theory in favor of Trofim Lysenko's pseudoscientific theories
Cut funding to research contradicting Lysenko's views, resulting in the arrest of many geneticists
An estimated 3,000 biologists were fired, imprisoned, or executed during this period
