The cover of "Los Últimos Game Center" by Víctor Alonso showcases a vibrant and nostalgic design. The background is a bright aqua blue, setting a playful tone. The main focus is on a collage of classic arcade machines and retro gaming elements, evoking the atmosphere of traditional Japanese game centers.

Bold Japanese text is prominently displayed, along with the Spanish title "Los Últimos Game Center" and the author's name. A yellow diagonal banner highlights the book's focus on exploring iconic Japanese arcades.

Additional details, like a fan and signage, add authenticity to the scene. The cover suggests a rich visual journey through the history and culture of Japanese arcades, appealing to retro gaming enthusiasts.

Description: Embark on an exciting photographic journey to the most nostalgic and remote corners of Japan, where you'll discover the iconic arcades that flourished during the 1980s and 1990s! This photo book offers a window into the past, capturing the vibrant colors of arcade machines, the neon signs, the flashing lights, and the unmistakable sound of coins dropping—transporting us to a golden age of analog fun. The Last Game Centers is a tribute to these arcades, a map to the few hidden treasures of the arcade world that are still operational in Japan today.

With over two hundred photographs, this collection showcases a world on the brink of being lost forever.

This is the first ASTRO CITY cab I bought back in 2021. Now it’s totally restored and it looks beautiful 😍 I have this model in YOKO (horizontal) mode in my living room and I usually play SUPER Street Fighter IIX and STG 👀 what do you think about the result of the restoration?

Víctor Alonso @victoralonso.es · 04/12/2024

Although I LOVE to restore ASTRO CITY アストロシティ cabs sometimes I prefer to leave them with the “war injuries” from the early 90s that tell the complete story of the cabinet. What do you think of this one? Would you prefer to restore it or just leave it as it is? 😉🌟

While I’d love to make it more accessible to the global community, I currently don’t have the budget for English subtitles. However, you can still enjoy the series by using YouTube’s auto-generated captions—not perfect, but they help!
