Evening of alternative music festival, eating balinese food in said festival, and getting completely soaked under a brutal downpour. Music was cool, food was delicious, and I bought a cool t-shirt at the Sea Punks maritime rescue NGO tent. (balinese food pictured)

This horrible heat wave in Germany has opened the doors of cold German dishes for me and I have to admit that German cold dishes game is superb considering it's climate previous to global warming. Sauerfleisch (pork head in aspic) is great, and their Fleisch/Eiersalats (eggsalad) are extraordinary.

A traditionally served in a jar Holsteiner Sauerfleisch (slow cooked pork neck in aspic) accompanied with pickled cucumber and pickled red onions.

Tonight, visiting Lübeck, I saw something up in an old medieval warehouse, I stared across the Trave river... Someone was there... And that someone was no other but Count Orlok! NOSFERATU HIMSELF! (you have to squint a bit, but believe me, it was him!)

Propuesta de billete de 100 euros. El billete es verde como anteriores diseños, sólo que esta vez se lee vertical en vez de horizontalmente. En la parte superior, a parte de su denominación y la firma del presidente hay una cinta de seguridad plateada con un avión airbus. Su figura central es una avoceta en vuelo en blanco y negro, sus alas extendidas cerrando un círculo claro que evoca el sol. Abajo, sobre la denominación hay una gamba color naranja y blanco en contraste con el resto de colores del billete.

Yesterday I visited again the Kunsthalle Museum of Hamburg, this time with a map so I wouldn't lose time: Appreciating the Old Masters (1400-1800) and their imperfections. They were not the best at anatomy, or animals, or light, or figures, or perspective, but they did it; and that's inspiring.

A less favourable review from Josh Rosenberg for Esquire panned the series as "terrible" and "simply incomprehensible" and referred to it as a "discount Game of Thrones".[20]

Just got @newedgeswordmag.bsky.social's stash of Sword and Sorcery novellas! Walls of Shira Yulun & The Hunt of a Thousand Miles by Dariel R.A. Quirogue! What Rough Beast & Waste Flowers by Byrn Hammond! Suplex & Sorcery by June Orchid Parker! The Barbarian at Dream's End by Steve Hugh Westenra! 🪎

Said softcover novellas, but only five showing because Walls of Shira Yulun and Waste Flowers are published in the same tome. The all look very cool with classic DAW style covers instead of the crap covers publishers push on any book nowadays.
