I finally broke down and grabbed some DIYRE gear in prep for some mastering work for some chipsurf and industrial songs. Here's my EQP5 that I'm about 80% done building. - Tim #DIYRE #EQP5 #Pultec #500Series

Tim's finally doing it! Probably. This is going to sting but we've been wanting to try the 73P and EQP5 for a few years now and as we've been getting more and more analog for our mixing/mastering, now seems like the time. #DIYRE #73P #EQP5

Tim's Chipsurf Live Eurorack build! Using 2 of his own WaveBoy's, Univer Iter MIDI-CV, 2HP LFO, Befaco Slew, Veils VCA, and Doepfer Wasp filter in a neon green acrylic case with purple 3D printed plastics. We're calling it the Donatello. #WaveBoy #Chipsurf #Chiptune #Eurorack

Planning out a 42HP case if we decide to add WaveBoys into our live set. WB can do slew, LFO but since I haven't made a "WB Advance" yet, I can only modulate 1 thing via CV and being able to control those from my keyboard is important. 2nd WB is for the bassbomb because of course. - Tim #WaveBoy

Trying a setup we wanted to do for CGF but didn't really have the time to polish it. It's 2 of my WaveBoy's (my Eurorack chiptune oscillator and EFX module) hooked up. This would be for playing raging chip-leads (where the SID would be for songs with poly and arps). - Tim #WaveBoy #Modular

It lives! Tim's new #FPGBC assembled and ready to rock for #ClassicGameFest! We'll likely bring the OG DMG-001 too but this sounds pretty darn good and, importantly, it's backlit (and also a pretty good FPGA implementation). Tim's Analogue Pocket will be for playing NSFs. #GameBoyColor #LSDJ

More tape, Eurorack, keys, and stuff! We ended up getting a solid song idea at band practice yesterday. A sort of cross between the album we're getting close to finishing and Alien Me. We love tape! John made heavy use of Tim's WaveBoy module for delay on it too. #Cassette #Portastudio #MadeOnTape

There is a bit of an irony in sharing this given the song's meaning, which the cover art also alludes to. So forgive the mild hypocrisy. Here's the artwork for our song which drops this Friday! #CoverArt #Ektar100 #LargeFormat #FilmPhotography #ShootFilmBeNice

Behind the scenes for the Syringe cover art. Taken with a Chamonix 45F2 and Wolensak 150mm uncoated lens (which Tim hoped would pass more UV onto the film). BW sheets are drying now and color sheets are getting mailed to the lab today. #BTS #Syringe #LargeFormat #FilmPhotography #UV

And there we go! All our albums/singles are on music.victimcache.com. Bandcamp isn't perfect but it's better, in our view, than Spotify by leaps and bounds. What about the physical releases? We're still looking into options for those too! #SpotifyNo #BandcampYes

000

Victim Cache (Band) @victimcache.com · 04/09/2025

No more Spotify at least for Chipsurf Pipeline. We're looking into the others too. We have a lot of thoughts on this (lots of folks do) but we're not cool with what Spotify is doing to artists (big and small) among other issues with distribution. #Spotify #Nope

I'm not saying this is what we're gonna do, but I always felt like a physical release of Chipsurf Pipeline deserved a full album and it would look pretty sweet on CD... It really deserves to be on vinyl, I think, but one risky project at a time. - Tim #CDs #ChipsurfPipeline #Chiptune #Chipsurf
