I attended Head Start. It was a great program and we were allowed to ride trikes at recess. I received a great start on my education, and I grew up educated enough to know not to vote for a fascist. That is why they want to end the program. You can’t have a serf class that is educated.

Even with the new $2000 OOP maximum and the new Medicare Prescription Payment plan, many patients still can’t afford their cancer treatments. When you only live off $1200-2000/mo, an extra $167.00 per month means doses or meals skipped or some patients stopping the meds altogether.

Hope to see more cancer drugs on there soon. The manufacturers are pissed about Medicare negotiating prices and taking it out on the patients. Most used to offer free drug to people with incomes at or below 500% the FPL, now most have dropped to 200-300%, leaving many to choose bwtn meds and food.
