Bringing this thread back: the thing I wish everyone knew about fabric explained. Every fabric has a fiber and a weave. The fiber is the material it is made of (polyester, silk, cotton, wool, etc.) and the weave is how it is woven (satin, dupioni, chiffon, charmeuse, etc.)

In settings, under accessibility, you can turn on the option to require alt-text before posting so you don’t forget to add visual descriptions of your images. And sometimes folks hide additional items like jokes or special details so it’s fun and helpful even for folks without visual impairments.

There are just so many tiny details all over my legs now. 🦑

Tattooed legs covered in a fantasy ocean world. In the upper leg it is open ocean, where you can see a whale shark, leopard shark, orca, mantra ray, sting ray, part of a hammer head, and so many fish swimming among coral in the lower part.

Another accessibility tip that's great for sighted people: I use these different shaped velcro ties around the stems of my hangers so I can quickly tell what type of clothing is hanging on it. Different shapes for different clothes types. Also great for when all your clothes are black!😆 #GothTips
