the fun thing with these/this product(s) is that if you like them but hate that there’s no remote sync then you can self-host and then (if you want to use dexie cloud) enabling live sync is like a three-line non-breaking change and will cost you a whopping twelve pence a month.

The landscape is undoubtedly changing but I think those using slop to replicate care and empathy are falling flat on their face. Everyone can see through it and eventually, it’ll be encouraged to avoid where possible. AI is already becoming an embodiment of this emoji 😬

I feel like I’m in a good place right now. I thought walking away from my job would send me absolutely nuclear with anxiety but the more time that passes, the more I realise creating human work with intention and consideration is a vital skill that will play a huge part in years to come.

I’m not sure. It’s hard to get to Bristol from here, the flights are only every few days. It means I need like 4/5 days of childcare … and the autistic 10 year old hates routine change 😬 it’s a big chunk of time. I’d love to see everyone, though!

Ey up mates. After 6 and a half years, I’m leaving GitLab. I’m terrified and excited. I think I’m gonna take a good little chunk of time off to recover from inevitable corporate burnout but I’m well excited to see what the new world order looks like when we all want lush human made drawings again 🤓

I’ve been playing loads with the Dynamic Pen Tool by Astute Graphics, and I'm loving the freedom it's bringing to the vector landscape. I’m just really enjoying my creative work right now. Feels good to follow the curiosity instead of overthinking the outcome.
