Wanna learn the #DungeonCrawlerCarl #TTRPG's movement options? #CarlRPG splits mvmt into Move vs Step (1 is an Action, 1 is free movement AND can be used during reactions!). I love how tactical it is vs simple Movement speed like in #5e. This video is FULL of combat examples youtu.be/1xOuEwfcMHA?...

Yeah I was actually think a little rolling cart would be pretty useful, sounds kinda like what you're talking about with the craft cart.

Vicarious Ventures (TTRPG Show) @vicariousventures.bsky.social · 27/03/2026

I personally use VTT most of the time so I don't have to think about hiding minis in person. But when I do play the DM screen is handy for hiding. I don't hide dice rolls though, that's not really what my screen is for :P

010

Vicarious Ventures (TTRPG Show) @vicariousventures.bsky.social · 27/03/2026

So if you don't use a Screen, where do you hide all the minis and spoilery notes? (I know for me the notes are already on my laptop which is inherently a mini DM screen) but what about the minis? Keep them under the table? Just a genuine question BTW, not saying forgoing the screen is bad at all.

Holy crap, that's fantastic! Weird how it even came out right bwfire the pandemic boom in the TTRPG space, that's a shame it didn't take off. I didn't start playing till end of '22 so I had no idea. If y'all ever want to do a campaign for it I'd be down as a player or assistant DM haha
