Toy Joy December is here 🪀 Our last event of the year! It's loose and unstructured - play however you want, I'll check in periodically to RT. Don't forget to spread the holiday cheer amongst your fandom friends! And look out for an announcement for future events later on ✨

6. 99% of the time, I do not plot out a story (Only exception currently, is MinDoll). If you see a 'clever' plot device that 'foreshadowed' something, it was retrofitted bc I saw something useful during a re-read while writing and said "oh I can use that"

If I could still play them, it would be XD But it's been a decade how since I really did in any meaningful capacity, so I've lost a lot of the needed skills, even pre-RA. But it's okay, I have my writing still at least, which led me to this wonderful place with all these people 🥰I'm grateful

Ooh my mom played clarinet!! I was trained on Violin, but I picked up Piano and Guitar on my own, particularly once I started taking Music Theory and Production classes. :3

OOOH that's valid, yeah. It can be quite stressful even in the best of circles, and it's so very unstable these days. Music just... isn't secured, even in schools T:

I wanted to ask btw, what did you playyyy :D

110

VYN - Fan acct @vicariouslyyn.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

NGL, it was for the best after all. Because now that I have a confirmed RA diagnosis, I'd have spent tens of thousands in college loans to pursue music and I would now be forced into an early medical retirement anyway. So, I miss it and hate that I didn't get the exp but... It was better in the end

If you still need inspiration for prompting, have a look at this beautiful Jihope cakeverse moodboard from @VicariouslyDD. QRT with your ideas, and don't forget to add your prompts to our collection: archiveofourown.org/collections/... #BTSFest

Jihope moodboard in shades of red.
Top row: bright red lips; coke bottle lids; jimin in red, looking particularly smug
Second row: a leg with high heel, repeated like a optical illusion; a bunch of strawberries, with the sentence "I love you so much I could share my strawberries with you"; glittery party decorations shaped like strawberries
Bottom row: Hoseok in red, staring into the distance; a slited eye surrounded by scales; a bottle of perfume on a background of roses

a black and white photo of jeong yunho being the most seductive person known to humankind. he is giving the camera serious bedroom eyes and tugging at the collar of his dress shirt like he's about to rip it (and my heart) open further.

a black and white photo of jeong yunho. his head is tilted. he's still looking at the camera like he's going to fuck it into next week. this time his hand is at his mouth. his deliciously long index finger toys with his bottom lip like he's toying with my heart.

Write what's comfortable for you. IF your writing ends up sounding a tad awkward, employing a beta-reader often solves that just fine.

VYN - Fan acct @vicariouslyyn.bsky.social · 19/11/2024

I loathe this take. Like, in its entirety. First of all, "just use their names" is wrong on SO many levels and more often than not makes the sentence MORE awkward. Second of all, this implies there need be an epithet police or system of correctness over writing which is FALSE and DANGEROUS.
