fires do not “smolder underground” for a week after being put out lol. framing the palisades fire as being caused by arson and not structural incompetency is a convenient narrative to spin for Karen Bass and the LA county board of supervisors isn’t it

Fire triangle explained graphic showing heat, fuel, and oxygen as the causes of a fire, with cooling (removing heat), starvation (removing fuel) and smothering (removing oxygen) as the methods of removing something from the triangle to eliminate the fire.

meme of a Chad looking dude wearing a shirt with text imposed over it that reads “SATIRE REQUIRES A CLARITY OF PURPOSE AND TARGET LEST IT BE MISTAKEN FOR AND CONTRIBUTE TO THAT WHICH IT INTENDS TO CRITICIZE”

From the archives… a pair of beat up stan smiths revived with some ghibli-inspired customization ✨ #kikisdeliveryservice #leatherpainting #upcycling

Side views of the painted shoes. Grommets and toe are painted gold, while the background is blue. On one side panel is an attempted rendition of Ursula’s painting, on the other shoe the side panel is the shooting star landscape scene.

Side panels on the other sides of the shoe. On one, a wildflower field landscape, on the other, the blimp in the sky.

The front views of the shoes. The left shoe has a portrait of young Kiki at the top, fading into Kiki riding into the night sky. The toe of the shoe has Jiji hanging from Kiki’s broom. The right shoe has a portrait of aged Kiki. The toe of the shoe has calcifer hanging from a log.

Angled portrait shot of the shoes. The right shoe is in focus, showing the portrait of aged Kiki, calcifer, and the wildflower field.

ok I’m trying to find ~community~ on Bluesky bc Instagram sucks. I’m an artist/writer/maker based out of LA, hoping to find others who are struggling to grow their social media presence and want to support each other 💖 here’s some stuff I’ve made over the past few months

Watercolor print of my tuxedo cat and a visiting Himalayan friend booping noses

Cassette Beasts is an awesome indie game (with amazing couch co-op gameplay) made by a teeny tiny studio committed to not using AI. I’ve been illustrating, vectorizing, digitizing, and embroidering some beasts !!
