Well this is going to be fun to restore. 😢

In 2010 Sony gave NBA players Custom PSP Go's, we managed to track one down a few weeks ago. It just arrived today! It features custom wooden case, and a custom designed PSP Go. We can't work out who Morton is however, can you help work this out?

It happens don’t feel bad. We ironically did grab another boxed reach one last week for £35.

That’s in the box, I realised after I messed up 😭

Although we finished our move last week, we have weeks if not months of work ahead, unpacking, documenting each random item VGPM has preserved.

Yet the warrant clearly shows otherwise? The warrant clearly says EXECUTE. not "accompany" that's a big difference. The seller has been sharing information in public too, but yourself and Frank have not looked. Lady Decade sees the issue with her new video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGaE...

They Called The Police

By disposing, they're not the owner, the charity was. They own the IP but not the carts/consoles/cables anymore. Making it a civil case. The police have further confirmed the seller is the owner, by asking him to "disclaim" ownership. Something you can't do if not yours.

100

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 19/09/2025

The power is statutory and cannot be delegated to private persons. The second image shows the under investigation form unsigned.

110

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 19/09/2025

ACE 1984, s.16(1). • PACE 1984 (Police and Criminal Evidence Act) – Only a constable (or, under certain statutes, other specified public officials such as customs officers or trading standards officers) may apply for and execute a search warrant.

210

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 19/09/2025

SEGA have refused to show this, but the police interview confirms they were given to the charity to recycle/reuse. The Warrant, is posted on the PT/OG discord a private company cannot be named on a warrant under PACE regulations. That means any evidence/hw seized has to be dismissed as evidence.

310

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 19/09/2025

Under UK law, the above is illegal. Rendering any evidence seized irreverent to the case as it cannot be used.

100

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 19/09/2025

It is a human rights case, as he was illegally arrested over a civil matter. Warrants going as far as giving a private entity police powers to enforce a warrant. The charity was paid to recycle/reuse which they did, the data is a different matter. The police should never been involved.

100

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 19/09/2025

The charity SEGA hired was allowed to take the items, and to resell/recycle. Frank is missing out this key piece of information. On top the warrant, is illegal too as it give SEGA, a private company police powers. It's a human rights case, as well as preservation.

431

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 19/09/2025

But they weren't, that's the whole point. They were given the items to resell/recycle. There's no personal data on the hardware being sold.

010

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 19/09/2025

SEGA hired a charity to dispose of the items, they're legally owned. The police even confirm they're not stolen, by asking the owner to "give up ownership" you cannot give up ownership if you don't own something. The warrant itself shows SEGA named with police powers, illegal under UK law.

270

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 19/09/2025

Clearly you're not reading the issue Frank, and I'm pretty disappointed with you. This is corruption at a police level, the items are not STOLEN. And not pirated. Please stop posting false, and misleading information.

Hey everyone we're at 54 days left to go in an attempt to save the SEGA lot. So far your support has raised £2,895.96 Let's keep it going, and get this done! In an effort to make things easier to donate, we've added more donation platforms.

165

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 03/06/2025

We've raised just over £2000 so far towards this! We also added a Ko-fi option (PayPal) as some people didn't wish to use GoodHub, that link is: ko-fi.com/obscuregamer... thank you again to all supporters and donators alike!

On top, Good Hub allows VGPM to claim Gift Aid on any UK tax payer donations which enables us to get extra donations at zero cost to us. This is why we have chosen their platform over Ko-Fi/PayPal.

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 03/06/2025

Good morning! GoodHub have just approved a dedicated fundraising page for the SEGA lot, we're calling this Project AGES. The total has been adjusted to reflect bank fees/costs with transactions, so the price listed isn't the amount needed to be raised.

Update time, the seller has labeled.. 241 carts so far and there is around 60 left to go. There is 11 confirmed carts of Rythem Thief, but not sure if the cancelled DS port or a mix of both DS/3DS. The picture below is just a handful they have labeled so far.

1174

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 01/06/2025

While we haven’t got a list still.. we can now confirm there’s more rythem thief carts. And phantasy star stuff on top. Once we get the full list, we’ll setup the fundraiser.

Thank you again to everyone who has supported/shared this once in a lifetime chance to preserve video game history.

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 30/05/2025

One HDD had a couple PS3/PS4 master builds on, but the PS4 one's are corrupted slightly, but might be repairable. The seller has promised a full spreadsheet shortly of all carts, at which stage we hope to start the final, and hardest stage of this fundraiser.

130

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 30/05/2025

Sadly, SEGA played hammer time with one and drilled the caddy ports, and it'll cost money to attempt recovery, another MSATA doesn't work in any caddy, and the Alienware SSD was failing too.

130

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 30/05/2025

It's been a rather long week, I came down with a bug last Sunday and have only just semi revived. Last weekend we managed to collect a couple of random carts from the seller, along with an Alienware PC that was faulty and a couple SSD's used by SEGA.

143

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 17/05/2025

A painful deal. It's still only just starting, but we're hopeful seeing the love the community has shown today.

110

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 17/05/2025

Can confirm the deposit is paid, meaning these are no longer for sale to the public, but still have a long way to go. Thank you for sharing this.

0120

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 16/05/2025

This has just been paid to the seller, and we're hoping to go down next week to grab a few carts. @didyouknowgamin has staff close by us, so we'll likely collab too.

1270

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 16/05/2025

To save confusion, the £5000 deposit it to take the carts of the market and not the full cost, this is just step 1. And to enable us to fund raise the rest, for release via @HiddenPalaceOrg

1140

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 16/05/2025

We're over half way funded, with just £2,223.21 left to raise (not counting Paypal fee's..)

0172

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 16/05/2025

OG has launched a fundraiser, and we just made a post about it :)

040

Video Game Preservation Museum @vgpm.org · 16/05/2025

The seller has agreed a £5000 down payment will secure all carts from sale to anyone else. We have setup a fundraiser via ObscureGamers ko-fi.com/obscuregamer... please check the OG Discord for more updates.

Here's a rather curious and rare find from China, saved with the help of ObscureGamers and donated towards by Bringus Studios It appears to be an AMD SLT (System Level Tester) board used to test the rejected PS5 APU chips. It is sadly missing the bios, ram and APU mount. vgpm.org/items/show/447
