Even this Musk tweet alone (ignoring all the other on-the-record contradictory things!) highlights the hypocrisy here: x.com/elonmusk/sta...

Screenshot of the linked tweet, from 26 Apr 2022, which reads:

Elon Musk - @elonmusk
The extreme antibody reaction from those who fear free speech says it all

Elon Musk - @elonmusk
By "free speech"", I simply mean that which matches the law.

I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law.
If people want less free speech, they will ask government to pass laws to that effect.

Therefore, going beyond the law is contrary to the will of the people.

That's right, the 22 minute video I linked goes over the good things in it, and that unfortunate Bad Thing that was required to get it to pass. At 16:00 minutes in the video is when the oil drilling part is discussed. The rest of the bill is major though.

bluesky review so far: mostly @retr0.id posts and cat pics!

Earthbound text box that says “No problem here.” (Earthbound displays this when you try to interact with nothing)
