I agree, they catastrophize over stuff and i feel like they are spinning their (and my) wheels in futile outbursts of indignation. But they are well-meaning and can be trusted other than that, i think. I asked them not to be so verbose. Hope they listen.

As an immigrant and new Irish citizen I am eager to use my white privilege to help other immigrants combat racism. I wish I knew some solid ways to do this. The Cork Volunteer Centre has diversity programs in which I have participated and these are very good. I'm open to doing more. Suggestions?

I'm from the generation calling females this age young ladies. It assumes that they represent the best characteristics of budding maturity and innocent childhood. As an elder now it is my job to do all I can to protect them and punish those who harmed and took their innocence away.
