its utterly ridiculous that in 2026 game engines are still not optimising their packaging for incremental patches. theres no reasonable cause for a "small patch" comprising these items to require a 1.7GB download!

Version 1.4.10:

Improvements to network connection and stability.

Fixed an issue that could cause the server to stop responding after a player disconnects.

More specific error messages for certain kinds of network failures.

Added warnings to the host and join menu if certain issues are detected that may stop you from connecting.

Small change to the sound of the [the item that lets you find other items].

Fixed the start of [the item that shoots flares] sound effect sometimes getting cut off.

Improvements to voice stability. It should be less likely that players voices cut out or stop working.

Anisodactyl: three forward toes and one backward. Zygodactyl and Heterodactyle: two forward toes and two backward (different ordering). Syndactyl: two very close forward toes and a third farther apart, and one backward toe. Pamprodactyl: four forward toes (the outer two can turn backwards as needed)

It is expected that you use vfig's "thiefblendercrap" importer script to get the resulting mission files into Blender, where they can then be prepared for use in Daggerfall Unity. That can be found here.

indiana jones great circle tackles this trope: long-sealed ancient tunnels have lit torches on the walls—but they are oil-burning, all connected to these pipes that still feed oil to them from the city above. then you find lit candelabras: and your npc companion says "candles! someone's been here!"

its kinda ridiculous to set up. step 1: define the earth's radius… but with careful colour choices and good cloud/distant art textures, it can produce some really nice results—second picture is a wip mission of mine without distant art yet.

here are the colour labels in action. with Stair Skip turned on, you cant walk onto the spiral staircase, but your cursor changes to an arrow and you click to use it; then the screen fades to black, you hear a few footsteps, and it fades back in with you standing at the other end of the staircase.

Books in the Secret Passage, labelled with the colors "Orange", "Green", "Violet", "Red", and "Gold".

At the bottom of the Library's spiral staircase, the cursor is now an arrow pointing up the stairs.

for motion sickness, there are new options for field of view, options to customise the cursor and the center of the screen, and skipping some stairways entirely:

"For [field of view], we recommend you experiment to find the right FOV settings for you. For many people suffering from motion discomfort, increasing the field of view has helped. But for a smaller minority, relief was found at lower levels."

Settings for the "inactive cursor" (on screen all the time) and the "Active cursor" (for interacting with objects). There is a slider for cursor scale, and options to change the design of the cursor so it is more or less visible.

keys and controller inputs can be remapped, and you have an option to move at the faster "stroll" speed or the default, slower "walk speed"

"By default in Blue Prince, you will move at walk speed. You can speed up to stroll speed by either tapping shift or by holding shift. If you tap, then you will stay at stroll speed until you stop moving. When you resume movement after stopping, you will again be moving at walk speed, and will need to tap or hold shift to resume strolling."

With "Invert Stroll" turned on: "You will now move in Blue Prince at stroll speed. ..."

these are still in beta (check the official discord for how to join the beta), but its great to see blue prince finally adding accessibility settings! first up: option for patterns and/or labels for colours:

"Color patterns are intended to be a more immersive way to distinguish colors in the more frequently encountered puzzles that rely on colors."

"Color labels can be toggled to help identify the color of certain items, floorplans, and documents. Labels are intended to be used within close proximity of an object of inquiry and can be toggled on and off by pressing Space while stationary. In the true spirit of Mount Holly, labels do not necessarily indicate importance, and colors should not always be trusted."
