Not my usual content, but I'd like to promote a cute little game I've gotten involved in the #gamedev of called #Porygon Trail! I made the little #cowboy hat porygon icon and am helping convert #sprites :') www.porygontrail.com If you liked #OregonTrail and #Pokemon, you'll love this game!

Screenshot of the main menu of a game called Porygon Trail. It's done in the original GameBoy color palette -- just different shades of green. It contains some stats about players who've lost and won, as well as a little Porygon with a cowboy hat.

The same porygon from the first image, but this time it's a close-up in Aseprite. The watermark reads: VEXEL 2016, INFO.VEXEL.INK

Ooh... what's behind the pixelation? You'll have to find out by finding my booth at @madebypeople.secondlife.bio's festival! I'll be there Sept 10th-26th with my brand-new set of mods using MY OWN SHADERS! Yes, I finally finished them!! Come see them in action next week! #slfurry #secondlife #noAI

Screenshot of the game Second Life depicting the OP's booth for an event. It says "FOX & FERN" in gold letters at the top, next to a stylized fox holding a fern branch in its mouth. Inside the booth are several items for sale; 5 of which being obscured by pixel mosaic style blurring. There is a "NO AI" sign with a "free gift!" label. A couple of older inventory items are labeled as 25% off, and the largest of the pixilated items is marked "15% OFF, EVENT ONLY!" There are mossy ancient-looking stones forming the frame of the booth, with several dark, spindly branches protruding from them to hold up the items for sale.

Did someone say shadow drop? I didn't tease these guys because I wasn't sure I'd finish them in time, but turns out I did! For the low price of only 350L, come grab your Puppermint for the holidays! Sweater overlay is a removable tattoo! #holiday #slfurry #secondlife #winter #foxfernsl #christmas

A festive Second Life vendor display for Fox&Fern’s Puppermints Fatpack. The product ad shows three stylized anthro fox characters in bright holiday-themed skins: a red-and-white fox in a Santa hat and sweater, a green-and-white fox with optional body markings called out, and a blue-and-white fox variant. The poster lists included textures for skin, ears, tail, and mouth, plus a sweater tattoo, and compatibility notes for [FH] Fluffy Pupper set, [FH] Vulpine head and ears, and Marz Chonker ears, with a universal square tail texture. The display is framed by lit garlands decorated with white and gold ornaments. Below the poster sit three green gift-box vendors with peppermint-style icons in green, red, and blue, representing the color variants.

Just saw this on Tumblr and squealed audibly. You go rockstars

Tumblr post by Gingerswagfreckles. It reads: After 146 days, the Writer's Strike has ended with a resounding success. Throughout constant attempts by the studios to threaten, gaslight, and otherwise divide the WGA, union members stood strong and kept fast in their demands. The result is a historic win guaranteeing not only pay increases and residual guarantees, but some of the first serious restrictions on the use of AI in a major industry. This win is going to have a ripple effect not only throughout Hollywood but in all industries threatened by AI and wage reduction. Studio executives tried to insist that job replacement through AI is inevitable and wage increases for staff members is not financially viable. By refusing to give in for almost five long months, the writer's showed all of the US and frankly the world that that isn't true. Organizing works. Unions work. Collective barging is how we bring about a better future for ourselves and the next generation, and the WGA proved that today. Congratulations, Writer's Guild of America. #WGAstrong!!!

Went for a walk today.

A stone railing extends out from behind the viewer and disappears behind a large tree trunk. A single vine climbs up the trunk of this tree, with many offshoots running across the ground. A forest of thinner trees engulfs the background.

Ferns and other small brushy plants surround a mostly-dry creek bed, which is dotted with small rocks and leaves. In the middle is a small puddle with the same rocks and leaves. It appears to have rained recently. At the bottom of the photo is some large flat stone, indicating the photo was taken leaning over the side of a stone bridge.

A paved path winds through a forest that somehow appears both well-kept and wild. The plants appear left to grow how they wish, however none overlap or block the path. In the center of the frame, a thin tree stands highlighted by the sunlight. It gives the photo a warm feeling. In the background, the sky is almost entirely blocked by the trees.

A paved stone path extends beneath a black lattice archway. The path is surrounded by leafy plants about chest height to an average adult. Large trees rise above the lattice and take up most of the background, with some bright blue sky exposed. There are just a couple clouds. In the distance, framed by the lattice, an arched house window peeks out from the vines that engulf the side of the building. It isn't apparent what the building is made of due to the vine coverage.
