My FAB wishlist this year is relooking the OP prize and promo structure. After dabbling in other TCGs during this downtime between sets, and Calling-level equivalent events, I think we're missing the plot. FAB is incredible for top players, but it feels bad for those who day 2 and crash.

Dropping by just to say that SAGE is really such a fun format for FAB. It's truly the casual format of the game and I'm here for it. Is the banlist clunky? Yes. But is it worth the onboarding for new players? I think resoundingly so

How are people finding the impact of MPG at the moment? I think it's done some cool things for guardian but I expected a big splash to make them a little more competitive. It's interesting design space, but the game's power creep is as such that crush feels like a very underwhelming keyword.

@dropout.tv today's Game Changer episode was nothing short of legendary. I'll definitely be circling back to this time and time again.

SIDENOTE: Thank you everyone who came up to me at PT Singapore for sharing that my X was hacked. The real update is that I'm aware but I can't seem to get support to return the account back to me. It sucks, but I wasn't posting there anyway.

PT Singapore could not have ended on any sweeter note! Having Shirui take it home right here is sweet sweet poetry! Welcome to Singapore!

Thanks @fabtcg.com for letting me guest write this round's welcome article for PT Singapore! See y'all here real soon. It's gonna get sweaty!

I’ve been off the grid for a week (unwillingly due to a dead phone). It’s good to be back, and I can now word-dribble my efforts going into Nats season!

010

Elliot Tan 🌘PT Yoko @vestigeisactive.bsky.social · 27/05/2025

Just like Enigma, GBones is proving to be a fun deck to solve the puzzle around. The armory deck provides a great skeleton (pun unintended) of what the deck could be, but that doesn't hamper the amount of flexibility and creative deck building the hero allows. Cracking ahead for Nats!

Honestly this should just be on all podcasting platforms. Hearing Devs, straight at the source, is just great for the growth of this game. I don't think there's any other game that puts this much love into showing that they are gamers at heart and are a part of the community!

What an excellent weekend at World Premiere Taipei! Had a fantastic time with the Singapore gang, and I'll never complain about a holiday to this great city! More events here please! (Next stop, gonna welcome you all to Singapore -- see y'all there for Pro Tour)

High Seas limited proves to be a real fun expedition. Already quite impressed with the play patterns and decisions. Honestly looking forward to drafting this, especially with the (s)curve ball LSS threw in with the new thief hero!

It's also likely that there Nats season is going to experience a similar shake-up to PQ Singapore. Azalea and Dash, under the new LL points system, are likely to affect week 1 and 2 of Nats, and then turn on its head for week 3 countries.

Elliot Tan 🌘PT Yoko @vestigeisactive.bsky.social · 20/05/2025

Overall agree with the BnR reasoning (transparency is a cause for celebration), but I'm weary of more aggro-dominated metas leaving control decks in the lurch. I look forward to a healthy meta where control, midrange/value, and aggro all hold strong corners in the meta.

I guess this confirms that there is no necromancer main hand weapon for limited. Which begs the question if there's something for CC? Similar treatment to how we got Klaive for Marionette in HNT.

Played my 2nd PQ this season (I really wish I had more time!) Brought Mario to top 4! Been feeling lost without Enigma lately but it was a super fun ride, and I think I played well overall. R1 - Kano ✅ R2 - Dashio ✅ R3 - Fai ✅ R4 - Azalea ❌ R5 - CYB Dori (Draw) T8 - Florian ✅ T4 - Fai ❌

I'm not down on the idea of sunsetting ELO next year and moving towards more active qualifications for larger events. The algorithm for losing/gaining ELO didn't always feel the best, especially when wanting to play at Sealed Callings, or even at the PQ-RTN level. Probably will ponder more on this

An all Enigma finals for PT London! What a banger of a weekend this far ⭐ Back to back Calling + PT wins for Enigma puts her at 989 which means there's just one week of ProQuests left (probably). This was such an exciting weekend!

NEW QOL JUST DROPPED and it's going to make life SO MUCH EASIER AT LOCAL EVENTS. Don't get me wrong, I love writing decklists but I'm an adult now with adult time constraints and my handwriting has gotten so bad in my 30s. THANK YOU LSS

Elliot Tan 🌘PT Yoko @vestigeisactive.bsky.social · 28/03/2025

Looking back on the many years of FAB, Enigma has truly filled the OG Prism void. It's a less polarizing deck (albeit still with some heavily favoured match-ups) but fills a similar gameplay loop. As an illusionist main, I cannot wait to see our Necromantic counterpart!

040

Elliot Tan 🌘PT Yoko @vestigeisactive.bsky.social · 26/03/2025

Favourite limited set of all time??? My hype keeps building.

São Paulo, y'all playing some mad FAB there. I said I would sleep 5 hours ago but here I am, wide awake in front of my TV

0120

Elliot Tan 🌘PT Yoko @vestigeisactive.bsky.social · 21/03/2025

Yes! Necro looking like an Illusionist-adjacent class! So of course we get our very own ALS-at-home. Better still, it looks more flexible than ALS since we get to play it from the graveyard as-and-when. And this one's named Chum. 10/10 no notes

020

Elliot Tan 🌘PT Yoko @vestigeisactive.bsky.social · 19/03/2025

Necromancer looks like the grixis class I've been looking for! Hopefully it's the illusionist-adjacent class as well! Been noticing that FAB is slowly building the colour(class) pie and we've been getting the overlaps across the past two years.

Elliot Tan 🌘PT Yoko @vestigeisactive.bsky.social · 11/03/2025

Super excited! Last day of work and then I'm off to Kobe! Been a hot minute since my last Calling, and nothing stirs the spirit like some serious gaming. (And better still, I can't wait to get me some of that cool Japanese weather right now)

040

Elliot Tan 🌘PT Yoko @vestigeisactive.bsky.social · 26/02/2025

Had a weird FAB dream last night where I played the new necromancer class coming in High Seas. Woke up disappointed.

060

Elliot Tan 🌘PT Yoko @vestigeisactive.bsky.social · 25/02/2025

Bye bye Mr. Viserai guy! I will not be missing your purple Skittles, but I will miss the moments by opponents and I laughed when you did something absolutely bonkers on board. The shared experience is what makes this game so great.

080

Elliot Tan 🌘PT Yoko @vestigeisactive.bsky.social · 23/02/2025

I know I don't have a ton of time to practice before Kobe, but I'm so glad the RTN season has sparked my competitive side once again. Coming off Osaka Worlds, I had to slow things down due to RL stuff, but there's nothing quite like the focus that each game of #fabtcg requires. The intensity is ⭐

060

Elliot Tan 🌘PT Yoko @vestigeisactive.bsky.social · 23/02/2025

Another RTN going 4-2 playing Enigma again! Played tight and I felt like the deck was doing it's thing, but couldn't get over the Auroras playing 4-tribal. That's the end of the season for me! Will probably qualify for Nats via ELO but wanted to play a lot more barring work. KOBE NEXT! #FABTCG

PT Singapore's venue has Universal Studios Singapore theme park right next to it. Like within MINUTES of WALKING. #fabtcg fam, if y'all thinking of staying on Sentosa Island, you're in for a treat!

040

Elliot Tan 🌘PT Yoko @vestigeisactive.bsky.social · 21/02/2025

Hi #fabtcg fam, if you're planning on PT Singapore, accomodations should be high on your priority list to secure! The event venue is a bit of distance from "mainland" Singapore, so finding somewhere close is gonna be pretty important! Harbourfront is gonna be the area you wanna look into!
