I am struggling with what, as fans, we can do. It appears the provincial government and Whitecaps are negotiating in good faith, so is there a villain in all this? Is the only resolution that will keep the Whitecaps in Vancouver is having a new stadium? And is that enough to make them profitable?

Messi is just so good, 3 crazy good touches in the game and just creates. Whitecaps played so well just not as clinical. On a different note, that Apple broadcast of the game, was very hard to watch they need to learn how to properly broadcast soccer, and not be so in love with one team.

I know it has already been said many times, but what an addition Müller has been, just the ultimate team guy, when has a star stepped into a team and just been one of the guys? And seeing Gauld come off the bench, this team is just so fun to watch. Fun times being a Whitecaps fan.

I was at the game, and what I noticed when Müller came on was how much coaching he was doing on the field, impressive from a player who has had 2 practices with the team. He did seem to get annoyed with Utvik a couple times(which I fully understand)

This is spectacular news hopefully this happens. Yes it is far away from skytrain but transit is pretty well set up in the area, also good spot for the people heading in from the valley. 20-25k seat stadium would be perfect.

For the Rise season opener, doing it in 60k seat BC Place(30k seats with no upper deck)when your season stadium is only 5k too big a jump.

Vancouver soccer crowds are normally pretty bad during the week, not only taking away people from the island or the interior, but people out in the valley. It is sad that our stadium options are 60k BC Place or 5k swangard…we need a better stadium

I know you guys are Toronto based, but worth discussing, Vancouver has 3 games in 4 days(2-Whitecaps and CWNT) the crowds are going to look bad, but you are asking basically the same people to go to all those games, just not feasible. Plus BC Place is way too big, we need a proper 20k seat stadium.

3 games(Whitecaps x2 and CANWNT) in 4 days is asking too much from the soccer fans in Vancouver. You are asking basically the same fans to go to 3 games, tough in this economy. Also, I wish we had a smaller/better stadium, these crowd are going to look so bad.
