I really really wish I have some people to talk to about Black Souls, But considering what kind of game series it is I am a little scared what the fanbase is gonna be like

000

This art was inspired by the ending to Black Souls 2, which is just soo Aikoto-coded.

I also think Atlus never really expected how popular she would get with the fanbase that they're expected to make them equals. When in reality that's never been the case Kotone is forever confined in Portable while Makoto is everywhere in P3

000

I personally think it's wishful thinking combined with the desire for P3R to be the "definitive" Persona 3 with all the stuff from previous versions. Completely ignoring the citcumstances that allowed her to be in P3P.

110

After Black Souls I am thinking of checking out NPC Dreams and Cradle of Nightmares: Flowers to You, The latter of which is sadly only in chinese but hey...i can wait.

000

At this rate i hope that Atlus re-releases P3R but make it Red Edition so all the content on FEMC is exclusive to there and they can still milk it. That'll be hilarious it'll be like those monkeys bitching that Episode Aigis was overpriced but funnier.

000

Especially if you consider what it took just to ge her on P3P in the first place. The game was demaked on a vastly inferior console. You want that on P3R?. You want to double the game's size and add exclusive content that Makoto doesn't have on top of new content Reload already had?.

I still standby the fact that Femc/Kotone shoud stay in Portable, Her not being in Persona 3 Reload was a non issue since she adds nothing to narrative, Persona 3 has and always will be Makoto and Aigis's story. And treating Kotone as if she's essential to the P3 experience is childish and immature.

After replaying both games twice i can see it for what it is. A beautiful and tragic story about love, obsession and haplessness. With wonderful characters and an amazing story that just ropes me in. Though i wouldn't say it's for everyone.

I think Black Souls is my new favorite obssession now. Like Black Souls 2 is up there with Persona 3 as one of my favorite games ever. I am glad it existed

-They're both charismatic dark messiahs despite being terrible people. And despite being terrible people they're remembered for their achievements. -Their downfall and heel turn was caused by love.

Their Connections are : -They're both villain protagonists from dark fantasy works. -They're both fallen heroes and are described as one of the best of their kind. -They betrayed their friends to chase after their goals and this betrayal is followed by instigating a massacre. Continued-

My cat doesn't want to loaf, I tried manually loafing him but he doesn't want to do it, he always want to stick a leg out or just curl into a crescent shape

There's this really cool moment in LOTR that is never adapted in thr movies, Aragorn throws Anduril's sheath before marching to the Black Gate, It reminds me a lot of Samurai Movies where the Samurai throws his sheath knowing he won't return after the duel #Tolkien #LOTR #Aragorn

And Annatar is just Finrod Felagund but with his ears hidden and Sauron couldn't get his eyes right. I don't know about the snake tho

ThatSheep @vertrucks.bsky.social · 24/01/2026

Another Tolkien Headcanon I have in mind, all of Sauron's forms are just copies of something that once existed before, his Werewolf guise was him assuming the form of Draugluin, his Vampire guise was him taking the form of Thuringwethil-

I believe people that think this way must consider Aigis's existence has still some root in reality and not fantastical enough that they refuse to let go of their threshold for fiction enough for them to accept her existence so that it seems ridiculous.

000

This reminds me of people arguing that Yu-Gi-Oh 5d's Jumped the shark because it introduced CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYCLES completely ignoring how the previous series had the protagonist committing mass murder using the power of a card game.

100

The more i think about it the more I realize how skewed and selective your suspension of disbelief has to be to have this kind of take.

100

In fact it's more believable that Aigis exists!, why would the Kirijo group risk limited human lives (considering how rare persona users are) traversing Tartarus when they can engineer artificial persona users and make alternative weapons/robots specifically to combat them?

100

Tell me what is so unbelievable about A robot specifically designed to fight shadows?.

100

-This world has teenagers shooting themselves in the head to summon demons -A blue room that exists in the back of the protag's mind with a long nosed gremlin thing -A tower that rises from the ground in an hidden hour when everyone is turned into coffins
