If "Barbie II" isn't subtitled "The Wrath of Ken", everyone in Hollywood needs to be fired.

My wife and I will be welcoming our first child this summer. I realized today that when he is my age, he will be celebrating the 100th birthday of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Holy smokes guys there's a never-before-released song on the Under Wraps box set called "Bring Back the Waltz" and it's honestly Ian Anderson doing Michael Jackson and it's awesome.

Would not have pegged the Einar Solberg solo album to have the best guitar solos of the year but here we are.

I can't remember the last time I heard a song as good as "The Book of the Living" by Shagohod, from their new album "The Curse that Hides the Door". It's "so good it makes me want to quit music" good.

Finally sitting down for a full listen of Vox Occulta and damn... absolutely fantastic - best thing Einar's done since Pitfalls, without question. Album of the year contender.

I am generally a man who opposes political memes in all their forms, but had to make this after Trump threatened to completely obliterate Iran and then bailed at the last minute (again). Reminds me of another oft-repeated completely impotent threat of despicable violence.

I know "Back to the Egg" and "London Town" are nobody's favourite McCartney/Wings albums, but it is genuinely insane that two major label LPs by one of the most important artists of the 20th century have been out of print for 30 years.
