I had a companion on my walk yesterday, he walked right alongside/behind me making little clucking, purring and “singing” noises. 🦃 He’s probably a young male due to his small size and the “tassel” on his chest, and he went off on his own when he found a good place to forage 😊

If you can find it, I highly recommend Hotaru Macha Milk Jam. It’s sweet but not too sweet*, and the bitter note balances balances it well. Rhode Islanders, it’s currently available at the North Kingstown Job Lot! 🍵 * For reference, I can’t drink soda that isn’t seltzer, but this is perfect.

Great job with the subtitles, YouTube.

I saw people saying online that autocorrect is getting worse, but I wasn’t sure it was true until this happened to me yesterday

I love finally having a drawing tablet with a screen, but its display is slightly pinker and more saturated than that of a computer, so I’ll be focused on painting for hours, then look up and discover that everything is washed out and a bit yellowish. #Art #Dottore #GenshinImpact

An unfinished digital drawing of Dottore (Webttore segment) from Genshin Impact. He is a young— well, youthful— light-skinned Middle Eastern man with pale blue hair and red eyes. He is nude and looks slightly bored. The image is cropped to his head and shoulders.

Also worked on some drawing practice for my graphic novel last night. I’m trying to figure out what style to use, but I don’t think I’ll be able to handle doing all the hatching by hand for every freaking panel. #Art

An incomplete black and white comic-style drawing of a New England colonial. It has been painstakingly hatched, much to the chagrin of my wrist.

Good morning to this *interesting* choice of words in the Genshin Imaginarium Theater fortune machine. [Context: “polish the pearl” is a masturbation euphemism]

“Still, do not forget the fundamental differences that exist between yourself and others.
Polish the dust-lined pearl in your heart, for that is a precious thing.”

Quote with a character that if you came out to them, their first response would be, "I'm gayer."

Managed to get a photo of the azaleas in our yard before they got quashed by several days of rain (the bees still enjoy the wilted flowers 🐝) #Azaleas

Two medium-sized pink azalea bushes in a green yard. The bush on the left is flowering so heavily, barely any leaves are visible.

But that doesn’t answer the question…How did you operate the camera? #GenshinImpact

A screenshot of Genshin Impact dialogue between Paimon and Xianyun during the anecdotes event

Xianyun: And this is a bird’s eye view.

Paimon: Whooooa! How did you even manage to take this picture!?

Xianyun: Hmph. One needs only to fly into the clouds, of course. A trivial matter.

Paimon: So it really is a "bird's eye" view...

Final post for now, the rest of my azalea collection is saved on my computer. These photos were taken in May of 2021 🌺

Red, coral, light magenta and white azaleas against a deep blue sky

Not azaleas, but ‘Lady Abbess’ Japanese maple. Bluesky refreshed while I was double checking the name of this plant and now I’m somewhat annoyed. Luckily, this is the last post in the thread for now.

Wooden sign for the Kinney Azalea Garden, surrounded by many colored azaleas, daffodil leaves and a sneaky shoot of knotweed. I probably should have started the thread with this photo, but I forgot I had it. Oops.

I’ve just realized that some of these are in fact rhododendrons, but I don’t know enough about botany to tell them apart, so I’m just going to add the #Rhododendron and try to my best to identify them correctly from here on out.

Personal | Gonna finish that art piece I posted a while back! Met with trouble trying to work on her face on my phone, so I’m getting my new touchscreen tablet set up. Sadly, this means I had to cut my nails to fit the drawing glove (I usually keep them long for sensory reasons)

Picture of my hands with med-length nails, which I had to cut in order to use my drawing glove without risking a tear.

Picture of my hand wearing a pink drawing glove. It’s the smallest size, but doesn’t fit as snugly as I’d like because my hands are freaking tiny 😑
