Just realized it's been a little over a year since I was laid off from Crystal Dynamics. What a year it's been! I'm incredibly lucky to have found a new home in Boston. While I'm still trying to find a friend group again, my constants online have kept me sane and helped me more than I could've hoped

ICON is no more! The tabletop friendgroup is now trying out Fabula Ultima, and tonight is our Session One! My character is a guy named Sergeyevich Termin (inventor of the Theremin) who, in order to get the otherwordly sounds that set his famous instrument apart, made a deal with the Fae

Finally watched "Mars Express" and holy moly what a good movie. If you're hankering for cyberpunk flavor in the Ghost In The Shell variety I cannot recommend it enough

Are we even trying anymore when it comes to discussing art

Jaron @veritonsils.bsky.social · 01/06/2026

And that's credits on 007! Overall I had an extremely good time, especially once I understood what the game wanted me to do in the combat. I think it has some pacing issues, and checkpoints were a little whack. What few bugs there were were hella funny though, like this one!

Jaron @veritonsils.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

Thanks for the birthday wishes everybody! For my birthday the movers showed up and gave me all my stuff! I also went ahead and bought myself a little something to celebrate 🥂

Movers arrive today! I'll be hucking stuff across the country ahead of me then flying out to follow them in a couple days. Gonna miss this place a whole lot.

Movers arrive tomorrow. I still have a few more days in Seattle and it seems to be pulling out all the stops to make me wanna stay. I'm really gonna miss this view, and this place.

Jaron @veritonsils.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

And that's it! We're gonna wrap things up with an epilogue just before my move. But really there's not much more. An immense end to a 2+ year campaign. End of an era. I've had such a blast sharing in creating this story with these folks. God damn TTRPGs are so good man.
