Ya it would be cool to do something like that. But it's some stock footage I pulled from envato. I'll pull some actual actors for this shot in a month and do the workflow again

So I use a program called Switchlight which uses an AI algorithm on my footage to create PBR textures including a depth map of the footage! Its great.

I think it's important to remember the loudest are, more often than not, a minority. I think the majority of people are just mentally exhausted from the extremism that exists in both parties. I say this as someone who is vehemently opposed to republicans. Left has to be better about conversation

Small little clip from my project, "What remains in the stars". Will probably rework and add to the finished product. Some talk in the works for this to become something a little bigger. It's been a great creative challenge. #scifi #shortfall #vfx #blender #3d #artist #film #cinema #dystopian

I'm so close to crafting something I don't hate but I'm just not quite there. One of my better results of putting the live action person into the shot but the interior needs a rework and I need to optimize. #blender #wip #cyberpunk #dystopian #scifi #film #3D #art #filmmaker #liveaction #cinema

It is, you're absolutely right. Just tough when you spend so much time on one thing. I'm not stranger to failure, I'll get there eventually. Every failure is another step to success.

000

Seth Raven @veriphae.bsky.social · 01/03/2025

Feeling rather defeated the last week. While I know some of you genuinely enjoy my renders, my goal has always been to get close to realism or at least believable so I can put some live actors in, but it just doesn't look good. Back to the drawing board. #blender #wip #keeptrying #vfx #3D #art

Seth Raven @veriphae.bsky.social · 21/02/2025

I think its important to share my failures. While it's still a WIP, I totally botched putting the actor correctly into the scene and he's slipping and sliding everywhere haha #blender #vfx #greenscreen #3D #artist #cyberpunk #dystopian #film #filmmaker #filmmaking #wip #fyp #scifi

I've been thinking the same thing. Europe needs to go the full mile with Ukraine and make the US irrelevant to the discussion. This would put Trump out SO bad and he would absolutely hate it.

Seth Raven @veriphae.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

Obviously it's a work in progress, but I'm trying to work on my modeling skills and I made this little warehouse building for a scene. I'm gonna replace all the buildings current in the scene the same way. Just celebrating small victories! #blender #art #3D #3Dart #dystopian #cyberpunk #vfx #scifi
