Vera @verajunior.bsky.social · 19/11/2025Doing a temporary data-entry project at my job and wow it is hard to fill out a form correctly for some people! Granted, the survey design is also awful, but why did I just see *both* 'yes' and 'no' options checked for the 5th time? 'Does your company have a WFH compensation?' ✅ Yes ✅ No 😭🤔🤔 000
Vera @verajunior.bsky.social · 06/11/2025I'm making a recipe that calls for 4 eggs but I only have two, and it includes carrots but I'll be using beets. Beside that it does not ask for any goats cheese but I'll use the entire package anyway. In other words: reason 101 why I would fail at the Great British Bake Off 120
Vera @verajunior.bsky.social · 27/06/2025And now... Presenting the host entry for #eurosky 11... Representing 🇨🇭 Switzerland, it's Steiner & Madlaina with their song "Denk was Du willst"! It's on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRRn... On Spotify: open.spotify.com/track/3U6a78... And we have lyrics! www.songtexte.com/songtext/ste...youtube.comSteiner & Madlaina - Denk was Du willstYouTube video by Steiner & Madlaina 052
Vera @verajunior.bsky.social · 27/06/2025The host entry for #Eurosky 11 has been selected! I considered doing a national final, because I had a hard time choosing, but in the end I left it too close to the deadline for a proper NF. But before we announce the competing song it's time for an honourable mention: a song that's ineligible > 171

Vera @verajunior.bsky.social · 19/06/2025If you liked Argent Vif in #eurosky 10, looked them up on Spotify, and were sad they only have one song, same! But last year they participated (got 2nd!) in some kind of 'Battle of the Bands' and their performance is on YouTube, with two more songs. Check it out! www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JUJ...youtube.com2. Vera @verajunior.bsky.social · 19/06/2025Totally didn't expect this, thank you so much to everyone who voted for Switzerland! I discovered the song and the band a week before the edition started and knew immediately I wanted to send it, and I'm so glad I did and other people love it as much as I do ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ ❤️❤️🤍❤️❤️ ❤️🤍🤍🤍❤️ ❤️❤️🤍❤️❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 0101
Vera @verajunior.bsky.social · 12/06/2025Oh! Just in time to actually promote the Swiss song before voting opens! After songs in French and English, this time we'll have another national language of Switzerland: Italian! It's Argent Vif with their song 'Eco' 🇨🇭 🇮🇹 🇨🇭 open.spotify.com/track/4mumcd...open.spotify.comEco 011
Vera @verajunior.bsky.social · 04/06/2025A great winner, congrats Mario! I can't say I'm surprised at getting second to last, I knew I picked a risky song and I don't regret it. But I am very surprised at France being last, absolutely undeserved in my opinion :( And for next year, Switzerland🇨🇭! 261
Vera @verajunior.bsky.social · 27/05/2025Because Spotify is my main way of listening to music I had not yet seen the video of my #EuroSky 9 submission, but I like it! It's a bit cryptic but that leaves it nicely open to interpretation :) Go Ireland🇮🇪! Vera @verajunior.bsky.social · 26/12/2024Since I'm moving out soon, there was a bit of a theme with my Sinterkerst presents. I am now the proud owner of: - A fire extinguisher suitable for grease fires - A hand screwdriver with 10 different screw bits - A kitchen scale - A wooden cutting board - A spatula 010
Vera @verajunior.bsky.social · 16/12/2024... I'm not working from home today so I can play Infinity Nikki during my lunch break, I swear I'm not! (But it is a nice benefit, and a positive point to compensate for the nasty cold I've caught that is the real reason I'm staying home) 020
Vera @verajunior.bsky.social · 09/12/2024This is great in general but the visual identity is really outstanding this year! 020
Vera @verajunior.bsky.social · 09/12/2024Already looking forward to eating leftover birthday cake at lunch tomorrow, and probably after dinner too 000
Vera @verajunior.bsky.social · 06/12/2024Moving out to my own apartment is confronting me with all kinds of dilemmas I have never thought about while living in a house with mostly everything I need already bought by my parents. Like: do I want to own a scale, or am I happy to just not know how much I weigh? 010
Vera @verajunior.bsky.social · 05/12/2024For some reason I've always felt resistance to listening to one song on repeat, even when I wanted to, but today I gave in and it's GOOD 110
Vera @verajunior.bsky.social · 21/11/2024I'm very excited to finally have my own apartment soon, but now with every single thing I see in my parents house I'm thinking: 'wait, I guess I'll need to buy/find one of these for myself now'. I haven't even seen the apartment yet 010
