2/3 doi.org/10.1083/jcb.... 💡 found that all 3 exhibit different dynamics & correlate with different stages of junctional remodeling 😱 discovered that SNX9 is essential to internalize junctions remodel, allowing cell movement

1/3 Find our new publication doi.org/10.1083/jcb.... where we 🔬 characterize the 3D membrane ultrastructure of interacting cells during migration. 🔎 found 18 curvature sensing BAR proteins that localize to endothelial cell-cell junctions 🔦 studied the dynamics of 3 proteins in exquisite detail

How do your cells hold hands when they move together? Find our new publication where the cell membrane, BAR proteins, cell-cell junctions, and the common cardinal vein all dance together to form a healthy vasculature

Fluorescence Friday! The formation of the common cardinal vein in zebrafish is an intruiging phenomenon. Endothelial cells migrate and delaminate all the while blood flow is rushing through this open-ended tube. Which is your favourite observation? Tg(kdrl-EGFP) transgenic lines 30-38 hpf
