The world would be a better place if more men read romance novels. That’s my hot take!

They really want us dead and they’re not even trying to hide it anymore.

Met my 50 book goal for the year! I hit a bad reading slump in the spring so I didn’t know if I was going to make it 😅 #booksky

50 out of 50 books. Almost to my 17.5k page goal as well!

I have some paint pens and was thinking about marking them myself, but I also don’t want to ruin them if I don’t do a good job.

Beautiful, just not want I wanted. I hate that I can’t get a copy of the old one.

Finally got my pre-order of Ritual Tarot and although I wanted it so bad, I’m not happy with it. She should’ve come out with another marked edition. It’s going to be so hard to work with these cards without the constantly looking them up to see what they are. I may have to resell it 😭 #tarotsky

If you were thinking about reading this book, don’t bother. I DNF’d at 45% because absolutely nothing was happening. What a waste of time. The best thing about it was the cover and title.

I will! I have those in my TBR and have been wanting to read. Just read another T. Kingfisher— What Moves the Dead— and I liked it.

Definitely The Knight and the Moth. I don’t read a lot of fantasy, but I’m starting to get really into it! Now I can’t wait for the next book that comes out in September.

Maybe, but it just seems a bit weird to me that it’s never like a history or math teacher or anything else. I’m wondering if there’s a commentary about the nature of stories and language and the way it can be used to manipulate people. I feel like there’s something underneath it 🧐🤓

I find it horrifying that Haunting Adeline is getting turned into a movie. I won’t read it, but I’ve heard the bad shit that’s in it and as a survivor, we do not need any media glorifying SA and rape culture.

68% of the way done with my 2026 reading challenge on StoryGraph. It’s been fun so far, but some of the prompts are way outside of what I usually read. Never read a monster romance before, but looks like I’m going to have to give it a try 😅 #booksky

Progress made on my book challenge on StoryGraph. Challenge is called Spread Those Pages 2026 and I am 68% of the way there.

They’re telling on themselves. He strips her of her autonomy, rapes her, continues to try to mold her into what he wants her to be for his satisfaction. He doesn’t care about anyone but himself! He’s a coward and a horrible person. I don’t know how people (men) are coming away any other take 🤯

Oh yeah I’m aware. That is a whole other level of racism! He’d have to give us all his billions as reparations and go away forever to even start to rehab his image, and that probably wouldn’t even do it.

well… It’s kind of a double entendre. He casts a wish that makes Nikki obsessed with him, but his obsession with HER is ultimately his downfall as well as everyone else around him. Such a smart film that I’ll be thinking about for a while.

‼️SPOILER for Obsession‼️ . . . . . I finally got to watch Obsession this weekend and I thought it was excellent. I can’t believe there are people out there that think Bear is not a villain and that he is a victim as well as Nikki. He absolutely is not! I think the title of the movie is clever as 1/2

Taylor Farms' parent company has given $2.2M to GOP PACs this election cycle. That includes $1M to Trump's own PAC, just 6 days after the FDA delayed new food tracing requirements last year. Money in politics is sickening.
