Literally I'm gonna end up drawing all three Rondo variants this month and in release order no less 😂. Thief month, more like Rondo month 😭😂😭😂😂.

LRP Oh my gosh Rondo EX1 is in 8 day. I have to draw him now. I thought I'd finally get to work on my monthly job challenge but that randomizer clearly has other plans 😂😭😂. October is already shaping up to be a very busy art month... We'll see if I manage to finish everything I want to.

EIGHT DAY #PPAPrompt! 🐙🎨 Time: October 8th - October 18th Characters are randomly chosen, this time it's: Laurana, EX1 Rondo, Mooloo, or Helga I look forward to seeing who you choose! #OctopathTraveler #OctopathCotC #OctopathTraveler2 #OctopathTraveler0

Set 3's Traveler choices for October 8th to October 18th Eight Day.

Laurana, EX1 Rondo, Mooloo, and Helga

Full splash art in the comments!

The General Information Guidelines

They read:

- Every "8" of the month (8, 18, 28) will start up a new prompt, giving you ~10 days to draw your chosen Traveler!

- Choose one (1) Traveler to draw from the four (4) randomly selected each Eight Day!

- The Travelers chosen are randomly selected from categories suitable:
OT1, OT2, or OT0
CotC Misc.
CotC 5-Star
CotC 3 or 4 Star

- Travelers will only come around once (until there is no more of that category), so choose wisely! A favourite, someone new to you, someone you've never drawn before, etc. It's all your choice!

The Rules Sheet

They read:

- Choose only ONE of the potential Travelers. Allow your choice to have a moment to shine!

- Keep it SFW! Project Path Action is an appropriate place for anyone.

- You do not have to draw their Path Action, that is saved for the Project itself.

- You do not have to participate in every Eight Day prompt. Only do so if you want to or have the time!

- Tag me, or QRP the current prompt! Be sure to use the tag #PPAPrompt as well!

- Any finish level is fine! Sketches, chibis, full illustrations, etc. It is up to you! Be sure to have fun!

A blank version of the Eight Day Prompts art summary.

A transparent copy is included in the comments!

Afternoon bump for Barbara!

Ventus Rocks @ventusrocks.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Yeah, I've unfortunately been too busy recently to do all of them, but I really wanted to do something for Xerc. And yes, he does have it perfectly under control!

010

Ventus Rocks @ventusrocks.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I drew Xerc for this 8 day! Xerc has used his soulstone expertise to set up a firework show atop Wishvale's hill! He's very proud of himself, of course. Coloring around all the fireworks was challenging, but I think it came out nicely!

Xerc is standing proudly with one hand on his hip as he gestures behind him towards the fireworks in the night sky. There are six explosions of fireworks, one for each element. The fireworks show is taking place on Wishvale's hill overlooking the mountains.

Don't you want to come say hi to this lovely fella :) I'm sure he'll make good eating afterwards. Also, have a silly propaganda version too ;)

Jane from Octopath CotC beckoning toward the viewer, while pointing at Adel from Nightreign who is running at her. Big text in the lower third of the image reads, "LETS PLAY NIGHTREIGN TOGETHER"

I picked up Jane recently, and she's very much of a kind with Ochette and Trish. Her cinnamon roll-like hair buns are very cute! I knew I wanted to have her pointing towards a dangerous monster but the Nightreign demons took over and now she's encouraging you to fight Adel with her.

Jane looks excitedly at an off screen viewer, beckoning them to join her in a hunt as she points to the large monster in the distance heading her way.

The large monster is in fact Adel from Elden Ring: Nightreign, a dragon with a massive mouth and several rows of jagged teeth. Adel is quickly running over toward Jane, ready to bite.

LRPs Every time I see Rondo EX2 advertised for PPA I'm like I want to draw him so badly oh my gosh. Obviously I already did the OTHER Rondo EX so I can't 😭. I'm gonna try to draw him for thief month though so it'll be okay but I have to draw Xerc for 8 day first because it's Xerc. I must draw Xerc.

Therion, Ochette, Throné, and Partitio - Open for anyone unless you have done that same Traveler before, you must wait about 50 days until you can take a repeat Traveler. EXAMPLE: If you have drawn Ochette before, you cannot claim her again (yet), but if you have drawn Ophilia, you can claim her.

This may be a silly question, but can I do two in one month? I've been waiting to continue my Rondo project, and I have an idea for my OT0 protag as well. If not, I'll only share the one for Rondo.

Leon was probably the most exciting Traveler for me when he was announced. Like yeah, I can play as characters like Tiziano who has been my favourite since 2019, but there's always something special about your favourites from OT1! Not to mention, Leon was announced two days before my birthday!

Month 9: Inventor/Runelord I knew inventor was going to be a fun design for Levina right away, & given that my warrior design was pretty armored, I didn't want so close of a repeat. Throné's inventor outfit naturally had some influence, but I still kept the Levina flair in the sleeves and gloves

A full body drawing of Levina in the inventor job. She stands tall, holding an elemental bomb bottle in her hand. A few sketches on the left depict a chibi-sized and full-sized sketch of the inventor outfit, as well as a chibi sized sketch of a runelord outfit, a sketch of Levina making a deep bow and Levina leaning on a large wrench like a cane while being backlit from an explosion.

The Side Solistia boss designs have such a visceral nastiness to them that's unlike anything else in Octopath. I also love the amount of freaky little (giant) Galdera hands all over fallen Sail's art and boss sprites. The tiny arms are so silly :)

Sail the Fallen raises his arm, conjuring the accursed flame. His other hand tightly clutches his blade, which wraps its own tendrils up the length of his arm to bind them together.
