In 2025, I led the charge to repeal Texas’ archaic “homosexual conduct” ban—a law struck down in 2003 but still sitting on our books. The House passed my bill on a bipartisan vote, but the Senate wouldn’t even hear it. I’ll be back next session, fighting until every discriminatory relic is gone.
