they definitely needed a level cap (most fights are a joke at level 12) but you can reach it very easily and early so a lot of act 3 give you nothing but items and it feels a bit pointless

having finally beat baldur’s gate 3 I can say that while act 3 being it’s own game feels appropriate it really grinds the pacing to a halt the final stretch felt really exhausting and overstayed it’s welcome a bit
