That's all of my rambling. We won't get to see any of this particular trio until the ending of the sequel story, but it was still fun coming up with their designs and personalities! archiveofourown.org/works/856438... ko-fi.com/ventarix

Blip: Surprise! They/them, hatched later in life, after the initial trio are well into fledgling-hood. It was difficult to conceive the original three, so Grockdrian are THRILLED when lil' baby Blip comes along. Considers Grace their 'favorite' parent.

Mary: Hatched at the same time as Gracie, they/them pronouns. They were born very weak, and for a time it was feared they wouldn't survive past hatching. Very musically gifted and gentle, usually lets Gracie do all the talking. Rarely seen far from Blip.

Gracie: Hatched at the same time as Mary, she/her pronouns. Loud and energetic, just like Rocky, and will fight anyone and anything that makes the mistake of disagreeing with her. Fiercely protective of her siblings, particularly Mary.

Sol: First-hatched, and the tallest, he/him pronouns. Tends to be quieter than all of his siblings, got a lot of Adrian's more withdrawn personality. Has a lot of feelings over Grace being one of their parents, both good and bad.

We've got #Grockdrian pebbles! There's some interesting coloration going on there with two of them. 👀 Details and notes in the comments! #ProjectHailMary #OurSavingGrace

Oh Lev, my sweet anxious lad. NEVER give this man coffee, he's already too high-strung. My favorite detail is the little gap between his teeth. archiveofourown.org/works/856438... ko-fi.com/ventarix

My tiny little ladyyy! Autumn is my long-standing soul OC, so I'm very partial to her. 🍁 She would be a tattoo artist as a human. archiveofourown.org/works/856438... ko-fi.com/ventarix

Gonna be honest, I tried to make them look like a pleased cat. 😂 Favorite detail is the gray in their hair because they forgot to re-dye it. archiveofourown.org/works/856438... ko-fi.com/ventarix

Barb turned out exactly as I pictured her in my mind. An older woman who takes her career VERY seriously, but is obviously super happy. (And she pegs her utterly besotted husband.) archiveofourown.org/works/856438... ko-fi.com/ventarix

Last but not least, the final of the three eridian councilors in #OurSavingGrace. Myriad-of-Plumewither might be a tiny little thing, but they don't tolerate disrespect from anyone. Confident and sassy, they know how to get everything they want and more. #ProjectHailMary #PHM #OSG

Grace in various fits that pop up over the course of #OurSavingGrace! From left to right, we have: fancy eridian celebration clothes, the domestic fit from Rocky's radiation dream, and then something he wears in the sequel story. #ProjectHailMary #PHM #OSG

Adrian is in their late 40s/early 50s due to time dilation, and still a zoologist. They and Rocky were high-school sweethearts. 🤎💚I love when people make them taller than both Rocky and Grace, haha. I also couldn't resist giving them tattoos.

For Grace, I see a LOT of people make him a tiny round eridian (which I LOVE) but I decided to do the opposite. He's tall and lanky (river-born), and he falls over a lot because of this. I wanted to use more foxy/copper colors instead of yellow/gold. Still a molecular biologist here!

Rocky's still an engineer, somewhere around his late 30s/early 40s. Instead of burns, I gave him impact marks. I imagine he and Grace's near-death over the planet Adrian would still be mostly the same, but with some small differences like that. He would 100% wear the WORST meme shirts.

My take on species-swapped #Grockdrian! I simply love the idea that everyone is INSANELY attractive no matter how they look. #ProjectHailMary #PHM
