Happy Friday! We are a few steps away from making the platform change from Paid to Free. One of the things flagged by our mods was any sensitive/personal posts that anyone might have previously put on the platform when it was paid and giving you members a chance to delete it. I wanted to give you a chance to scrub that. Please make sure to do this if you have this concern.

My thought is, if you put something on the internet, there's a risk of it getting out anyway but maybe you felt protected previously because members were paying $49 to have access to it. In any case, this is a courtesy post.

More info to come on the changes.

-I know street team is/was very important to you all just for the chance to spend time with each other and interface with other fans. Where we do have volunteer opportunities at any AEW events/special events, we will make a priority to ask Heels members to participate. Thanks to all of you that have patiently been waiting for an update during the transition time this summer. I’m happy to bring forth some updates that I know you’ve been waiting to hear from me about.

First, we have decided to remove the monthly membership fee for Heels. The paid message board was always in place only as a means of security to ensure that members were aligned with the vision and mission of the program. However, as we move to a member-led board, we believe this will allow more resources to manage the group and ensure the community standards. Additionally, the cost was a barrier to entry to some women that couldn’t join or couldn’t renew because of financial reasons, and we want all female wrestling fans to be a part of and be able to take part in this community.

Anyone with an active paid Heels membership as of May 1st and/or through July 31st, will be refunded the full amount. I will be back with an update within the next 10 days about those refunds.

What does that mean in plain words? You will still have access to the message board, but you NO LONGER have to pay for it. AEW will continue to pay for the platform at no cost to you.
