Multi-state salmonella outbreak linked to fresh jalapenos. Investigation ongoing.

SEVERITY
345 people sick and 36 hospitalized across 27 states to date. Outbreak linked to fresh jalapeños from Sinaloa, Mexico. Affected products were distributed by Coast Citrus Distributors to restaurants, wholesalers and food service companies nationwide. Chipotle and QDOBA have removed the recalled jalapeños from their stores. Do not eat, sell, or serve recalled products. Investigation ongoing to determine whether the linked jalapeños also reached grocery stores.

I was over complicating this process last year and gave up This year, I kept it simple. I list my goals for the month and break up each goal into tasks. At the beginning of each week, I assign a day for each sub-task. Then at the end of the month, I review how things went and plan the next month.

One thing I like is that they let me choose what I want instead of forcing it on me and then me having to waste time undoing mistakes. Here is an example. I copied paste a course page. It retrieved the chapters and created a task for each chapter. It gives the option to remove or keep the tasks.

Another variation lol it sounds so confident!
I asked Google 300+140 is 460 yes? It answered

Yes, $300 + 140 = 460$.
Math checks out perfectly!

AI responses may include mistakes.

Veni Kunche @veni.dev · 21/05/2026
I expanded it and it fixed the answer but I highly doubt everyone is going to expand
Yes, $300 + 140 = 460$.
If you're breaking it down mentally, you simply add the hundreds and tens together:

• $300 + 100 = 400$
• $400 + 40 = 440$

Wait, let's re-verify that simple math!
$300 + 140$$= (300 + 100) + 40$$= 400 + 40$$= 440$
My apologies for the first calculation—you caught the trick! $300 + 140$ is 440, not 460.

OpenAI whistleblower Suchir Balaji's mom shared this yesterday After quitting OpenAI, Suchir was going to testify against them on copyright infringement He was found dead and the police ruled it a suicide His parents have been pointing out that his death was not investigated thoroughly since 2024
We learnt recently that Autopsy was never performed. Partial autopsy by Medical Examiner means they dissect part of the body injured. Medical examiner failed to open the head though there was injury.

Autopsy has to be supervised. In this case Chief Medical Examiner was not present.

ME had to take pictures of oral cavity. They missed it.

Stomach has to be opened to determine time of death.

Entry wound had to be examined to see the soot to identify exact distance between victim and the fire arm.

No crime reconstruction.

With so many errors we can challenge OCME of their conclusion.

Donald Trump posted: A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don't want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have complete and total regime change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionary wonderful can happen, who knows? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the world. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, but finally end. God bless the great people of Iran!

We are applying to the Advanced Academic Program for my 2nd grader. The school focuses on critical thinking, not memorization. So we have to show her thought process It was hard to get my 7yo to share how she thinks. After a few fights, we figured it out. It's been cool to learn how her brain works
I asked what is 3x9? She wrote: Closest one I know if 3z10 which is 30. so if I take away one three then it would be 3x9. 30-3 = 27.

I asked what is 7x8? She wrote: The closest one I know is 7x10 which is 70. Then 70 minus two more 7's would be the answer. 7x2 = 14. 70-14=56.

My 7-year-old's school partnered with Open AI 😭 I thought we had time before it affected our school I don't mean to rant about AI all day long but it's being pushed in every aspect of life
Every day, I am inspired by the resilience, creativity, and promise of our students – and the responsibility we share to provide them with the tools and opportunities they need to find their futures in a rapidly changing world.

We are entering what I believe is this generation’s “Sputnik moment.” The rapid evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming every part of our society, and our nation’s schools will continue to be a critical place for both possibility and responsibility. As countries and industries around the world move swiftly to develop and apply new technologies, we must ensure that our students and staff are prepared to lead – not follow – this work.

That is why I am pleased to share that working together with OpenAI, FCPS will be in the first cohort of school divisions across the nation to help guide how ChatGPT for Teachers will roll out across the United States. We are trailblazing a path for hundreds of other school divisions and communities to follow.

ChatGPT for Teachers can among other things provide support, planning, communication, translation, and data analysis at no cost to schools until June of 2027. With ChatGPT for Teachers, OpenAI is delivering strong privacy and security safeguards, ensuring FCPS privacy and security standards are being upheld in these tools. Additionally, this tool will only be available for staff use.

AI will never replace the heart of teaching or the human connections that are foundational to the high-quality education we provide all our students. But AI can remove barriers, save time, and open doors to new ideas and spark innovation in the classroom and beyond.

By working together – students, families, staff, and community partners – we can equip our young people with the skills, confidence, and curiosity they need to meet the future with purpose. Together, all things are possible!
