Vene @veneilla.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Work has informed me that I dont take enough vacation. Unfortunately for both myself and them. I don't have a reason to book time off.

Went to my local card shop to pick up my singles order. They mislabeled it under an acquaintance's ex who I went to highschool with? You could see the label with my name under the one with his and it was just packed yesterday?? Crazy

Twitch isn't making Gen AI training *opt-in* because no one would voluntarily choose to opt in. Instead, they are offering an opt-out option.

Twitch now uses your channel to train generative AI by default. You can opt out of some training here: www.twitch.tv/settings/sec...

Training for Generative AI

Allow your channel content to train generative AI content models at Amazon. Turning this off does not opt you out of Twitch and Amazon using your channel content for other purposes described in the Twitch Privacy Notice, including using AI-supported Twitch features that benefit the community by facilitating streamer growth and monetization (such as real-time sponsorship campaign assistance), viewer discovery (such as recommendations), and community safety (such as AutoMod). I kinda like that BSky has drafts for when you go to comment in case you want to think about it a bit more. But, I also don't like that it reminds me of all the times I've withheld something out of concerns of being parasocial.

One of my many talents is getting 90% of the way through assembling furniture just to realise that i put something on backwards that requires me to disassemble it. This includes IKEA furniture. I do read the instructional manual.

I finally decided to try Slay the Spire. I kept telling myself "One more room before I go to bed". This continued until I finished the run. I can ser why people recommend this game.

I return from the dead... To complain about Gachas. This node kinda blows chunks for trying to 3T it without having pulled some specific DPS servants and gotten them NP levels. Or you know, having an MLB Black Grail.

"So Vene, it's been a month since you finished 6.0. How much catch-up do you have left?" Yes.

They announced a lego Minas Tirith set and the only thing stopping me from hitting that order button with enough force to break it is the hefty price tag. But its so tempting...

I stopped playing XIV just under 5 years ago (I did the first week of 5.5 and then quit). Some friends convinced me to pick it back up again and I've been casually working my way through all the catch-up. 6.0 is done now.

Burdenless and for the most part no skips. I warped from the 168 tree back down to 117 to gather locusts and then warped from 140 to 171. Skipping both 169 and 170. I did this so i could have more attempts at escorting Ninnie. #VoidStranger
