I'm a combination of challenges and legacies for the most part, I like having specific goals to work to, so anything rags to riches is my jam, and a good legacy challenge is great for me too. I like ticking boxes 😄. I love seeing how others play though, it's so interesting. Thank you for sharing!

Replacing the lots to suit the type of world you want to play in makes sense to me. I start my gameplay now with an updated "base" where I've added extra builds and community lots and things. I think it mixes things up quite nicely. But I imagine with story you'd want more details with lots etc too.

Looks like a fun challenge, Mena!

That's so interesting. I'm not a storyline type player, I love goals and challenges so I'm not one for thinking about how the world is set up in terms of the Sims in it, so I was curious how much you put into changing the Sims / setting it up with opportunities for different storylines etc.

Honestly, so delighted to get a comment from the official Sims Youtube channel on one of my builds - that was a nice pick me up for the morning! This is the build here if you're interested: youtu.be/r7kEF0MhgA8 #Sims4 #TheSims4

Do you set up a lot of no-played characters to round out your worlds?

VelvettB @velvettb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

I need help with #Sims4 Detective Career. After issuing an APB, no Sims are loading into that lot, just other Sims turning up from other various places in the world - none are my suspect. Does anyone have a suggestion to fix or try to do with the career so I can complete it?

I am not a sewing person in real life, but I've been having fun doing it virtually! This was an off the rack dress just to sell, so I was having fun creating something not for a client.
